You and your boyfriend arrived at the pet store. You and him both wanted a cat for a long time now and decided to be cat mothers together.
You walked inside, holding hands with Luciel. When you got inside you heard all the little pups and kittens bark and meow.
Luciel's eyes lit up. "OMG!!! Y/N! I can't believe we are gonna be Cat MOMS TOGETHA!!!!" He squealed with excitement. You giggled and you guys walked over to one of the workers. It was a lady.
"Can I help you two today?" She smiled.
"Yes, we are here to get a kitten!" You yipped.
"Okay!" She replied. She went around back, you two following her. "Would you like a baby? Or an older cat?" She asked.
"Hmm.....we want to look at all of them, then we will decide." You said.
"Okay." She said. She pointed you to a few little cages. Fat cats, granny cats, playful cats, sleeping cats. There were about 20!
You realized Luciel wasn't by you anymore. You looked around, wondering where your boyfriend wandered off to. Your eyes settles on his figure, kneeling down by a small cage in the corner.
You walked over to him. "Luciel?"
He didn't answer. You then heard him, "What happened to this little guy?" He asked. You walked next to him, looking into the small cage. It was a baby kitty with white fur and a black nose. Black ears and a black tail. A Siamese!
He was sitting in the corner, shaking in fear, as he had just been rescued a few days before.
"Oh that's, (insert a cat name)." The lady said. "The poor baby just got rescued from an abusive home." She frowned.
Luciel's eyes were sad, you knew how much he loved cats and hearing that this baby kitten got abused just broke his heart. "Ma'm. We'll take this one." He said, standing up and pointing to the shaking kitten.
"Are you sure?? He is a very easily frightened kitten and hasn't even been potty trained!" She asked.
"It's fine! We'll teach him." You smiled in delight. Luciel was relieved to know you were okay with this cat, as he made the decision without you. To be honest, you wanted the same one he did ever since you laid eyes on the poor thing. You could relate as you've had a bad past and loved the kitten right away.
"Okay! If you'll follow me, I'll just have to have you guys sign some papers and he's yours!" She smiled.
"Yay!!" You and Luciel squeaked.
She picked up the cage and went to the front, grabbing a few papers and handing them to you. You filled them out and she handed the cage to you, with the baby kitten. "Here you go! Have a great day!!!" She said.
You and Luciel got some cat food and ca litter, as well as a cat bed and a cat playground. You picked out a collar, a food dish and a few little toys. You drove home.
When you arrived at home, you put the cage on the floor. Luciel got down carefully on the ground and opened the cage. He held out a cat treat.
The cat hesitated, still shaking, before slowly making its way to Luciel. It ate the treat right out of his fingers.
It purred and curled up in Luciel's lap, instantly trusting him and you. Luciel squealed, "AAAW!!! Y/N! DO YOU SEE THIS?!?!" He pet the kitty and you walked over and sat down next to both of them. You were glad you got a cat. It would do well for both of you, and the cat.
