Unexpected Roomate

I was tired and pretty much living off coffee pots, ramen and from time to time, tea. You'd think after high school and college university would be harder but more laid back. But of course no, it's layered hell with bullshit around every corner. So of course, I Aspen J Rogers, work my ass off to get out of this hell.

I don't have past times because I have no free time, I have no hobbies because in reality studying would be it. Though that is more of a obligation than a hobbie.

It wasn't like I could magically find one through socializing since I wasn't really much of a talker. It's not like I had a roommate to help with that either. I had requested to not have a roommate, but I said that in an emergency they could place me with one.

Sighing as I finish the last of my studying and let my head hand hang backwards. There is was, the empty white bed meant for said roommate. Sometimes I wonder would it would be like with one. Would I like it? Would it make me happier?

I got a phone call on my cell. I pick it up to see the school dorm manager is calling me.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey Aspen. I'm sorry to call you so late. " I mentally scoffed. They all knew I never sleep. It was only 8 pm too. "We are going to ask you to prepare for a roommate." Of course. I mentally groaned.

"Yes ma'am. " Then I pressed end call and shut off my phone.

Then like the world new I didn't want to move, their was a loud rolling thunder of knocks at the door.

I held in a long sigh and got up, passing over the blue tape on the ground and trudged over to the white door.

I put my hand on the gold door knob and twisted and pulled towards me and a fist bumped me on my forehead.

I grunted and looked at the tall figure in front of me, soaking wet and smiling sheepishly.

"Hi little roomy."

Oh boy here we go.

Sorry it's short, but I like leaving chapters with cliffhangers! I promise to try to make them longer.
