Aspen's POV
Life is a high way bumps and craters. And somehow, I always hit the one's I'd rather avoid.
Like having an arrogant roommate, getting a blow job from a wolf. Waking up cuddling with said wolf.
I say nothing as the wolf snuggles and drools on me.
I stand up, push the wolf away with my foot, then fall flat of my face. I grunt and lift myself up.
I look at my feet to see a tired and annoyed wolf biting my shoe.
"Alright wolf, let me go home." I say slowly. It sits down, with my foot in its mouth while patiently waiting for who knows what.
I look away as it does whatever it does, and Ash's body is back. Not to mention very much in the nude.
"What the actual fuck?" My eyes widen as I try to quickly crawl away. Again luck os very much not on my side as his large hand wraps around my thin ankle and pulls me under him.
"Have a nice nap little mate?" He says.
"Little what now?" I ask.
"Little mate." he replies.
"Mate?"
"Yup."
"As in like friend?"
"Nope."
"You are strange Ashton."
"I'm not Ashton."
"His twin brother then?"
"Nope. I'm his wolf spirit Carlos." A small moment of silence.
"So what? You both are like werewolves or something?" I chuckled nervously. More silence.
"Pretty much."
I nod my head. "And mate is a what?"
He took a deep breath. "Oh lord no what have I done?" I mumbled as he opened his mouth.
"A mate is the shorter name for a soulmate! The other half of your soul! Your lover for all time!" I slap my hand over his mouth before he could say anything stupid. Or continue the stupid he was contributing to.
"I get the gist, Carlos." I grumbled.
More silence.
Nothing was said or done till I felt a warm pair of lips on my bare neck.
