Today is the day I dread most nowadays. Currently, I was running without stopping. Luckily my athletic build had eased at least a little bit of the torture that unathletic humans would consider a large pain in the bossom, thus I was able to endure such workout. But it didn't help that I was still having to run when I could just relax in my bed. I mean, isn't that what you're supposed to do in mornings? Lay around in bed, watching some cheesy chickflicks kind of entertainment on Netflix, the sorts, you know?
But well, I'm here now. With Craizee watching me from a distance. Relaxing. That's like taking credits for someone else's work! She could at least support me by not eating cheesy dorito chips with that smug smirk on her face! An exasperated sigh escaped my lips as I felt my blood boil as if oil had been poured into my blood stream, I knew she was doing this kind of thing on purpose. To test me. To fuel my determination and give me a reason to run faster and in a more motivated sense.
"FUCK YOU CRAAAAAAI!" I heard her say and growled lowly to myself. Is this kid mocking me or...? "Yeah! I wanna hear you say that to me, (Y/N)! I wanna make you suffer so much, you're gonna wanna hate me as long as you train!" She continued to shout. "Think of how I forced you outta bed this morning when you could've just do what you always do on mornings - relaxing!" Something inside me snap. Dunno, felt like a dragon or something who was just awakened by a certain call. Unfortunately, this tiger's call was Craizee taunting me. And so my mind projected what happened about two hours ago.
It was a nice dream, dreaming of just me and my friends. We were enjoying ourselves at the beach, laughing and splashing water... heck, there was even some BBQ party! I felt myself smiling in my sleep, I didn't know how but that happened anyways. My hair was gracious- graciously messy as if it was a failed version of a bird's nest. A string of drool made its way down my cheek as I snored softly, all content and happy.
Little did I know, someone was about to wreak havoc and shatter my peaceful rest. That someone swung open my door, the shadowed figure's face was unseen as she walked into the room. "Wakey-wakey~" That person also gave me no space to respond as she ripped off the blankets from my sleeping body, and dragged me out of bed. I mean, that's what you get for living with someone strong enough to actually carry a hatchet for a long time. I hissed, tiredly but in an annoyed manner, at the light suddenly exploding my senses and the whole room. "No time to sleep! Training time!"
The incident left me boiling with fierce motivation. "When I'm done, you're so going to pay, Craizee! FOR WAKING ME UP AT 3 IN THE MORNING TO START TRAINING!" The fuel to the fire had helped as I picked up my pace and let my feet slam themselves against the hard ground, beads of my sweat was no longer bothering me. Nor was the sun peeking from its hiding spot. My eyes were narrowed and filled with ferocity I have never had before. I looked like a damned warrior and I love it.
"Use that anger to burn off the tiredness! Be like Sans who was fueled by anger when Chara killed Papyrus! Or when Betty betrays a Hufflepuff! Be like the Hufflepuff who got angry!" I have no idea what she was talking about once she got to the HP part but whatever, still! "YOU WANT ANGRY? I'LL SHOW YOU ANGRY!" But I couldn't help but to laugh, all these shouting made me feel better and not as tired. I could see that Craizee was enjoying it too, which was clearly a benefit for the both of us.
After a few minutes of reaching my finishing point, I skidded to a halt and panted. Granted I was an athlete so I wasn't panting all that much. Craizee swung by and gave me a bottle of water, grinning. Without thinking of what she could put in the beverage, I wrapped my hand around it and took it from her. I unscrewed the cap before gulping down the cool liquid that ran down my burning throat. "Heh, betcha think that I did something with the drink." "Not really, I mean, I would've but you know. Tiredness and all that thing." I waved her off and sat my butt down onto the dusty, earth floor before seeing Craizee doing the same as I continued to drink my tiredness away.
We made it back to our home in about 50 minutes (since we were training elsewhere, far but worth it) and I immediately made a move to my room. I stopped when Craizee had cleared her throat to grab my attention. What now? "So! Training is this evening. Don't worry, you won't need to run. Just endurance kind of thing, so your legs won't give out. It's useless to be able to run fast but you lack endurance in those kickers." She waved me off as a signal to get some rest. I stayed in my position, which was like the first phase of starting a run, not run in races, but still...
I watched as she walked off into the kitchen, before I just grabbed the passing Mochi and left to my room, placing Mochi down into my bed before slamming my body into the soft mattress in complete exhaustion. Today was bad, what about this evening? Or even tomorrow? God...
