"are you going to tell me" grey asks while he takes fries of my plate, we are sitting in the cafeteria on are lunch break

"if I tell you, will you shut up?" I asked annoyed at his constant pestering

"gladly" he smirks; I look round the room to make sure we aren't in ear shot of anyone

"my dad used to take me shooting when I was younger, he told me I should learn in case of an emergency, I'm glad he did because I saved our lives" I smirk at him, he doesn't find this funny so I carry on "anyways about five years back, I'm at the shooting range with Lana and Ricky, getting some practice in. Lana couldn't handle the gun, she was all over the place and shot Ricky in the foot. We didn't say anything to the staff and my dad drove us home. He told me that I needed to learn how to do first aid in an event that it happened to me or some I knew in the future so there you have it" I finish the story quickly

"that wasn't as exciting as I was hoping"

"what was you expecting, me to tell you how I saved someone's life in a gun attack" I laugh

"what you two talking about" Lana asks as she joins us at the table

"she was just telling me where she learnt her amazing skills" he winks

"oh god, you didn't" I looked at Lana and giggled all the while nodding, knowing that she is embarrassed with that part of her life, we full into a comfortable silence, I push my tray towards Grey so he could eat my fries because he never gets anything to eat.

"what are you doing Lana" I snap my head up to see Ricky standing at our table

"why don't you take a seat" I offer; he looks at me with a dirty look

"don't look at her like that" Grey snaps in anger

"or what" Ricky replied, I get up and bang my hands on the table, this seems to get their attention as they both look at me and not at each other trying to kill one another

"enough, okay, I'm done, I can't do this" I shout at them both, annoyed at their childness "you" I say pointing to Ricky "if you don't like who I hang with then maybe you should have made the effort, when I apologised to you last week" Grey is smiling smugly now, he isn't going to be when I'm done with him "and you" I point to grey, as it's turn to get the truth "I am not your property" with that said I walked away from them.

I seem to have a thing about being on people's door steps when it rains, so here I am again, knocking on Greys door in the middle of the night, in the rain, the ironic thing is I only want to sodding sleep and I knew it was the one place that I could achieve this. I wait but then he doesn't answer, so I look round his porch for the spare key I find it tapped to the bottom of the plant pot in his porch. I open the door then return the key to the spot I got it from. I place my bag down by the door and walk into the living room.

I look round the room to find a piece of paper stuck to the tv, I walk over, pull it off and open it

If your reading this jade, you've clearly let

Yourself into my home, go to bed, I'll be home soon, also you

I throw the note onto the table with a smile on my face, he is such a dork, I go back to the hall and grab my bag, I head up the stairs and into Greys rooms. This is home. I drop the bag at the bottom of the bed, I rummage through it for my dad's old t-shirt once in hand I get undressed and pull it on. I look for Grey number. I text him to say thank you for the note but I don't get a reply.
