[Best friend's name]'s POV
"Hey Y/N I'll be right back. I need to use the lady's room."
"Okay," she says.
I get out of the room and I see Levi kicking his soccer ball. "Hey Levi."
Levi looks at me and smiles. "Hey."
"What'cha doing?"
"Just...practicing."
"Isn't your next soccer game in three weeks?"
"Yeah...how did you know?"
I turn red. No one's really told me...I just knew. You smile and blush. "Well..."
"What?" Levi's voice softens.
"I like you..." Oh no...did those words come out of my mouth?
To my surprise, he smiles and says, "I like you too."
Since we are not experience with this...experience, we just stood there, thinking of something to say next. It's always awkward.
Levi makes the next move. He goes towards me. "Follow me."
I follow him into his room. His room is neat–in a not so clean type of way. There are sport balls neatly next to each other everywhere you look.
I turn to him and smile. "I like your room."
"Thanks. Close your eyes."
I quickly close them as I giggle. I wonder what's going to happen next.
I feel something cold around my neck.
"Lift your hair please."
I lift my hair and before long he tells me to open my eyes.
It's a golden soccer ball shaped locket.
"Aww...thanks Levi."
"You're welcome."
I was so grateful that I hugged him. And it wasn't awkward for him...he hugged back. But he didn't let go. I didn't want to either.
"[Best friend's name]?" Y/N comes in.
I jump. "Y/N!"
"Are you two hugging? And what's that?"
"I told him. And you were right! He likes me back!"
"Even though he's two years older?"
"Age is just a number," I tell her.
"Age is a word," Y/N says back.
"Whatever! I think we're dating now anyway."
Your POV
"You're dating?"
"Yeah, I guess so." Says Levi.
"Okay. I bet you two want to spend some time together...I'll leave." You exit your brother's room and go into yours. You are upset but you don't want to show it.
I can't believe that happened!
