Chapter 7: Katniss's Secret Mission

Katniss says to herself, "Ok Katniss, you can do this, it's not as hard as it looks, just get 6 pieces of tesserae from John Middleton, and give it to James McAllister. Then, he could give it to The Voices, it's as easy as that!"

The Voices awaken Katniss:

The Voices: "Katniss, wake up Katniss, wake up."

Katniss: "Ok, let me just go downstairs and eat breakfast first, then I'll take care of it.

The Voices: "K then, if it's your wish, we'll go.

Katniss: "Thank you, I'll definitely do my task after I eat breakfast."

The Voices: "Ok, have a great morning, Katniss Everdeen."

9:36 A.M.

Katniss eats Breakfast

Katniss: "These eggs are delicious!"

10:00 A.M.

Katniss is done with Breakfast

10:12 A.M.

Katniss goes to John Middleton to get 7 pieces of Tesserae

John Middleton: "Hello Katniss, I heard you have something to ask of me."

Katniss: "Hello John, how are you this morning?"

John Middleton: "Fine, thanks for asking! What would you like today, some tesserae?"

Katniss: "Yes please, 7 pieces."

John Middleton: "Yes ma'am!"

John Middleton gets 7 fresh pieces of tesserae

John Middleton: "Here u are, dear, 7 fresh pieces of tesserae!"

Katniss: "Thanks John, have a great day!"

John Middleton: "You too Katniss, you too."

Katniss brings the 7 pieces of Tesserae in the kitchen where James McAllister is

James McAllister: "Hello, who's in here?"

Katniss: "Oh, hello, my name is Katniss Everdeen, you might know me from, from, The Voices."

James McAllister: "Oh, why hello Katniss, do you have the 7 pieces of Tesserae for me?"

Katniss: "Yes, I do, here you go."

Katniss hands James 7 pieces of Tesserae

James McAllister: "Thanks Katniss, I'll give it to The Voices for the special treat for Gale."

Katniss: "K, bye James."

James McAllister: "Bye Katniss."
