I was so mad at the wolves that I could rip their throats out! But I also wanted to know why they did it, how, and their way of life. And HOPEFULLY, a remedy.

" Well then, go ahead and tell us! " yelled Rachel at the wolves.

" Very well. " said a black wolf. " First of all, you turned into wolves because we bit you. "

" Why in the world would you do that?! " I asked.

" You didn't let me finish. When we bit you, our pack scents went on you. So you will always belong to the pack. Now, let me introduce myself and my fellow pack leader. My name is Blackmoon of Shadow pack, This is Silvermoon of River pack, This is Rusetmoon of Earth pack, And finally, this is Fluffmoon of Wind pack. "

* Just saying, Blackmoon is a boy, Silvermoon is a girl, Rusetmoon is a boy, and Fluffmoon is a girl. *

" In the packs, we have different roles. Fighters, Medicine wolves, Pup mothers, Pups, Apprentices, Elders, and the 2 Alphas. Also, everyone in the pack is a fighter. We all follow the fighter code which means that you don't steal prey from other packs, you are loyal to your pack-mates, you always hunt for the pack first NEVER yourself, you don't betray your pack, and finally you always listen to Star pack. Which is where we all go when we die. Star pack guides us and protects us. The medicine wolves follow the fighter code too. But they also follow the medicine wolf code which you don't need to know about unless you become a medicine wolf. And last-but-not-least, All the pack names have a meaning. But your alpha will tell you that. For now, that is all you need to know. You will learn more when you go in your packs. "

" Just one problem. " said Fred. " YOU GUYS and girls NEVER TOLD US WHICH PACK WE ARE IN! "

" Of course. Fred, you will be in my pack. Water pack. Along with Rachel. " said Silver Moon.

" Sophie, you will be in my pack, Earth pack. " said Rusetmoon.

" John you will be in my pack. Air pack. " said Fluffmoon.

" And finally, Emily, you will be in my pack. Fire pack. " said Blackmoon. I can't believe I'm saying this but... I think that I like Blackmoon. He's been starring at me ever since I saw him. Although... I have been starring at him too. A little.

" Now it is time for you to go to your packs. More will be explained later. " Blackmoon finished. We were were just about to go to our packs when Rachel told us to stay behind.

" I have a plan. " she continued. " We should meet somewhere and try to find a cure so we can go back to our normal lives. "

" I heard a couple wolves talking about a gathering of some sort at a Great oak. We should meet their. " finished John.

" But how would we know where it is? " I asked with some doubt in my voice.

" We could ask our Alphas where it is. They did say that we could ask them questions later. " said Sophie .

" Then it's agreed. we'll meet at this... ' Great oak ' tonight. " said Fred finishing our conversation. But then, someone from River pack came in. I could tell because I remembered that River clan smell. I guess he was coming to get Rachel and John.

" Come on Rachel and John, we have to get back to the pack. " he yelled. But something wasn't right with Rachel. She started blushing and waging her tail. OH MY GOD! She had a crush on whoever that wolf was! Since I was her friend, I saved her the trouble of getting embarrassed in front of him.

" I have a question, " I asked. " what's your name? "

" My name is Dovefoot and I am from water pack. " he responded. Then Rachel got her confidence back.

" Why hello Dovefoot. I'm Rachel. Could you show me a little bit around the pack when we get their? " Dovefoot nodded. Then they left and so did we. but then I saw Rachel trip on a rock and was about to fall in some mud! Luckily, Dovefoot caught her in his arms.

" Thank you Dovefoot. " she said as if she were just in distress.

" No problem Rachel. " he replied as if he just saved a maiden from a tower. UGH! How does Rachel fall for these kind of guys. They talked until I wanted to stop listening. Fred was obviously not happy about Rachel's crush. John, Sophie and I were the only ones who knew about his crush on Rachel. Sophie patted John on the back and told him to keep trying.

When I finally arrived at the pack, I was first greeted by a she-wolf with sunset fur.

" Hello, my name is Sunpelt. And I need to talk to you about something. "

" What is it? " I asked interested.

" It regrades you and your friends wanting to know if their is a cure so you can go back to living normally. " I stared in awe. How did she know about that? i decided to listen to what she had to say.
