"Bee, let's go!" Reya yelled from downstairs. I sighed as I tied my black wedges behind my ankles, taking my time.

"Bianca, come on!" Reya yelled up again, this time even louder. "I'm coming Rey, calm down!" I yelled back, though I was still going to take my time.

Before we get ahead of ourselves, let me introduce myself. My name is Bianca Wayland. I'm a 22-year-old grad student living in Baltimore, Maryland with my best friend, Reya Dawson. Reya and I have been best friends since we were in diapers. We grew up around each other's families, and grew up to love each other's families like they were our own. She has been dating my older brother Braxton for almost four years now, so we're hoping one day we'll be sister-in-laws. That way when we tell people we're sisters, we won't be lying.

While Reya doesn't have any brothers, we are both very close to her cousin Rian, who is right around the same age as us. He's currently the drummer in a band called All Time Low with some of our friends from high school; Jack Barakat, Zack Merrick, and last and certainly least, Alex Gaskarth.

Even though we've all been friends for years, we've all certainly had our differences. Well, I guess only Alex and I have had our differences. Needless to day, we aren't fond of each other. But that's a story for later on.

I grabbed my red blazer from off of my bed and made my way downstairs into the den of the house that Rey and I share. "You are the worst person to get out of the door on time, I swear! You and your brother are terrible. Do you not care about time?" She practically yelled as she pulled me out the door. I pulled my Ray Bans down from my hair and put them on as we got into her BMW.

"Rey, relax, we aren't even late! You said you wanted to be out of the house by 6:15 for a reservation that's at 6:30, and it's only 6:13. I gave you two full extra minutes to get to the restaurant that's only five minutes away." I said, leaning back into the leather passenger seat.

"Look, I know how much you would like to avoid this dinner, but do it for Rian, Jack, and Zack. You know how much they love you." She whined as she backed out of the driveway.

"I love them right back, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the unfortunate fourth member of that group is going to find a way to screw up this dinner." I said, messing with the dials on the radio.

Rey slapped my hand out of the way before popping her copy of All Time Low's 'So Wrong, It's Right' album in. "Well you can prepare yourself by listening to his wonderful voice until we get to the restaurant." She said, giving me a triumphant look as the CD began to play.

I groaned. "I literally hate you." I said. "So, so much." Rey just laughed and turned up the music.

Alex and I have had problems since we met around 6 years ago, so this isn't anything new. I think Alex is full of himself, Alex thinks I'm full of myself. I've never liked his girlfriends, he's never liked my boyfriends, we listen to the same music, have the same friend group, and play the same instruments. We have so much in common that it's ridiculous, but we absolutely can't stand each other.

Why, you may be wondering? Right before we graduated high school, Alex and I had a little too much to drink at a party at Rey's house while her parents were out of town. Before we knew it, we had hooked up. Now don't get me wrong, Alex is nice to look at and all, but what really takes the cake on this was that it was my first time doing...well... you know, and he didn't even bother to acknowledge that it ever happened. He will still completely deny it to people to this day. I think I would know if I slept with Alex Gaskarth, wouldn't I?

Rey and I rode the rest of the way in silence, finally pulling into the Olive Garden parking lot at 6:22. I looked at the clock. "See, plenty of time. We're a whole eight minutes early!" I pointed out as we got out of the car.
