12.Touring The New School

"Kylie!C'mon,it's the day you get a tour of your new school!"Billie called from downstairs.
I sighed and got out of the bed,walking to my closet to get an outfit.
I then made my way to the bathroom and took a shower.
After the shower i got out and got dressed.
I then went to the mirror and brushed my short hair.
I slipped on my all black converse and went downstairs.
"Ready?"Billie asked me as I stepped off the last step.
"Yeah."I said,putting my hand in my pockets.
"Let's go then,don't wanna be late."Billie said.
"Okay."I said,walking out the door.
I walked to Billie's car as he unlocked the door.
I got in the passenger's seat and buckled up.
"Don't worry Jay,it'll be fine.I promise."Billie said.
"Let's hope."I said.
And with that,Billie pulled out of the driveway and drove off down the road.
To a new school for me to check out..
How fun,I bet it'll be like tons of fun,y'know?
Not,school dreads me from doing anything in life..

As we pulled up to the school I just wished I didn't have to go to school anymore.
I didn't want people to judge me because of how I look or how I am.
I've had enough of that back at my old school and I don't need it here even though I probably will.
"The principal just said to be yourself."Billie said as we stepped out of the car.
"I'll try.."I say as we walked up to the main entrance.
We walked in and walked up to the desk.
"You must be Kylie Armstrong,correct?"A brunette lady asked.
"Yeah."I said.
"Mr.Conrad has been expecting you,he's in his office.Come in."She said with a smile.
Billie&I walked into the main office and went to the principal's office.
"Ah,hello Ms.Armstrong.I'm Mr.Conrad,it's nice to meet you!"Mr.Conrad said.
"You too."I said.
"Please,sit,sit.You both."He said,pointing to 2 chairs.
I sat down in one and Billie sat next to me.
"Kylie,"Mr.Conrad said.
"I have 3 people to come and show you around the school and where classes are and things like that."He said.
I nodded my head,I really didn't want to be shown around with 3 random kids.
"Sean!Connor!Jamie!"He called.
And as he finished the last name 3 kids came in,2 boys and 1 girl.
"Please show Jayden here around the school."He said with a smile.
They all nodded.
"I'm just going to tell your father here about your schedule and what goes on here at Princeton Junior High."Mr.Conrad said.
I nodded as I walked out with the 3 kids.
As the door to the office shut I followed the 3 kids out of the main office and down a hallway.
"So,your Kylie."A boy said.
"Yeah..why?"I asked.
"Just makin' sure,y'know."He said.
"Oh,I'm Connor Caldron."He said.
"Kylie Armstrong."I replied.
"This is Sean O'Ryan."Connor said,pointing to the boy,he waved shyly.
"And this is my sister Jamie Caldron."Connor finished,pointing to the girl,she smiled and waved.
"Hi."I said to them all.
"Well..let's get this tour started."Connor said.

"This is 8th grade,where you'll be in next year.And 7th grade is right above it,there is some classrooms down here but they are other optional classes."Sean said as we walked down the 8th grade hallway.
"Cool,cool."I said.
He nodded.
"Oh!The final place to show you!"Jamie said.
We all ran up the stairs,
"Follow us."Jamie said.
I followed them as we came to this big room with music notes and stuff everywhere.
"This is the music room,you can learn whatever instruments you want."Jamie said.
"The teacher is Mr.Griffin and his wife Mrs.Griffin.They teach the same stuff but it's all jumbled around."Sean says.
"Nice,are you guys taking music?"I asked,my hands in my skinny jeans.
"Yeah,music class is one of my favorites."They all said.
"Really?What do you all play?"I asked.
"I play the guitar."Sean said.
"And we play bass."Jamie&Connor said.
"Cool,I play the guitar and drums.But,mostly guitar."I say.
"Cool!"They said.
"Oh!Its almost 2,we should head back."Jamie said as she looked at her phone.
"Can I get your number?I can help you out on the first day."Jamie asked.
"Yeah,sure."I said as I gave her my number and soon Sean&Connor.
"I'll text you later,nice meeting you Jayden!"Jamie said as she walked off.
"Nice meeting you too!"I said.
"Yeah,nice meeting you.See you around school."Sean&Connor said.
"See ya."I said,waving to them as they followed Jamie.
I then walked into the main office and into Mr.Conrad's office.
"Did they show you everything?"Mr.Conrad asked as I came into the room.
"Yeah."I said.
"Good,I just finished talking about things for school with your father,I can't wait to see you in school!"Mr.Conrad said.
"You too!"I said as Billie&I walked out of the office.
We then exited the school and got into the car.
Billie handed me a piece of paper with a smile,
"Your schedule."He said.
I opened it up and looked at it all.
"Music's last,good.Something I'll like."I said.
"Yeah,you wanted to learn some more on guitar,right?"Billie asked.
"Yeah."I said.
"Okay,so,how'd it go?"he asked.
"The kids were nice and I got to know the school.Im actually kind of excited because everybody's new.So,it's like nobody will really notice."I said.
"See?Not so bad."Billie said as he pulled onto the street.
"Yeah..I guess it isn't."I said,gazing out the window.
