The Damsel

    He felt like a queen. He was treated like one, too. On a colourful throne, carted by citizens turned into minions. And just in front was his king, leading this wicked parade. Well, more like his hero, instead of king. Alfred the Great.

    Arthur didn't know if he was happy or sad. Every magical being was fighting the giant witch. All except Arthur. Because he loved Alfred. Even in this form, he couldn't hurt him. And vice versa.

    Everyone hated him for not fighting. They tried to attack him. They all looked so betrayed, but Arthur just couldn't care about them anymore. He had seen Alfred hurt so many times. He had lost Alfred so many times. And he wasn't losing him again.

    So he pulled out his weapon, and struck them down. The 'hero' amplified his power; Alfred once again, even now, was striking down 'villains'. And Alfred decided that behind him was too dangerous of a place for his damsel. So he lifted him up, and sat Arthur on his giant shoulder. He should feel bad, Arthur should. But he couldn't. So he kissed the cheek of his super large hero.
