I'm pissed off that I didn't notice it sooner. Who the hell takes advantage their little sister? A sick fuck, that's who. I'm hella livid at the moment.

After dinner, I hurriedly wash my dish bed checking on Camila. I walk up the stairs slowly, listening out for any possible crying.

As I got closer to her room, the sound of soft sniffles and small sobs reach my ears. I carefully push the cracked door open and saw Camila, curled up in a ball against her bed.

Her face buried in her knees. I make my way towards the weeping girl and stoop down to her level.

"Chancho?" I let out in a slightly raspy whisper. She stays in her position, though her crying is reduced to shallow breaths.

"Mila, baby, it's okay. I'm here," I soothe, rubbing her back from a safe distance. She suddenly threw herself into my arms, wailing.

"I-I-I'm s-s-sorry-y, D-Dinah! I-I'm so so-rry!!" I rock her back and forth, but she is still hysterical.

I didn't know what else to do so, I started to sing.

Open your heart up and let me inside it
Open your heart up, heart up

Take off the mask for me tonight
I wanna see, you for who you really are
And, baby, you don't have to hide
I wanna see, every flaw and every scar

Mmhm, right here, right now
Put your fences down
Oh-woah, oh
Right here, right now
Right here, right now

When I finish, Camila was slump in my arms, asleep. I pick her up effortlessly, strip off of her clothes, slip on her favorite pajamas, and lay her in bed.

There's no way in hell I'm leaving her tonight.

Then again, I shouldn't jump to conclusions, but it just makes so much sense. She'd tell me when she's ready, but I'm gonna protect my baby at any cost.

This shit is ridiculous. I get ready for bed and I lie down next to her. She immediately cuddles up to me, holding on for dear life.

She let out a soft whimper and holds on tighter. I wrap my arm around her and pull her on top of me. She lays her head on my chest and noticeably relax into her slumber.

As she slept, I stare up at her light purple ceiling, thinking of what's really going on in this "dollhouse". Her family seems perfect, but that brother of hers, Alfonso, is the epitome of fake.

He's a walking, talking Ken doll, that guy. My blood starts to boil as I thought of what he might've done to her. I wrap both arms around her protectively.

I'll be damned if he touch her again. I swear, I'll kill him for hurting her.

"But, Diiiiinnnnaaahhhh, I want ice cream before we go to schooolll!" My little baby whines. I shake my head, "No, Mila. You already had chocolate this morning and cake for dinner. No more sweets for this week," I scold.

She crosses her arms and stomps a foot like a bratty little kid. I raise an eyebrow, "Karla, don't start. I was gonna take you after school if you behave, but nope."

She starts to whine and plead with me and promise she'll be good. I find it humorous when we talk to each other like this. I think it's actually cute.

We make it to our school building and went through the double doors. We walk hand and hand, earning stares from the others. I don't care though.

Today, Mila and I don't share a first period class. I walk her to her class and give her a quick peck on the lips. "I'll see you after class, okay, baby girl?" She blushes and nods. When she went into her class, I began my way towards mine.
