Celia timidly walked across the school yard at Kadic Academy, blue suitcase rolling behind her. She tucked a pink stray hair behind her ear as she studied the courtyard. She was met by cold, icy stares. She picked up her pace a little so she could get the the Office. It was her first day of class, she didn't want to be late.

"Celia, Belpois, Right?" The Principle, Calie DellaRobia, asked her.
"Yeah," Celia replied. They continued down the hallway in an awkward silence. She could hear the conversation of students through the dark green doors that lined the tan walls.
"I remember when my parents would talk about going to school here," Mrs. DellaRobia said, hoping to break the silence.
"Really?" Celia asked. It was a strange topic, but she decided to go with it.
"Very well actually. My mother kept telling these weird stories about these five kids, my father being one of them, and how they had some kind of secret hidden in the old rundown factory across town," she stopped in front of a doorway and took out a large ring of keys from her pocket. "Ah, here it is," she said as she unhooked a key. "It was quite a weird story if you ask me. She dosn't believe a word of it anymore herself."
Celia was handed a key. "So is this where I'll be staying?"
"Yes. You do have a room mate, her name is Maggie. She's a good girl, you two should get along fine," she handed the key over to Celia. "I've already told her about your arrival, so she'll make sure to inform you about all of the rules. I have to go off to a meeting," She fished in her pocket for a slip of paper. "Here's a note, give it to the Librarian when you go to get your books. I'll check in with you later, okay?"
"That's fine," Celia said. Mrs. DellaRobia turned and walked silently down the hallway. Celia was left facing a door. She took a step forward and knocked.
A voice sounded through the door after about a minute. Celia pondered if there was anyone actually in the room at all.
"Come in!"
Celia cracked the door open and peered inside.
A girl with bleach blond hair and bright green eyes sat uncomfortably on one of the two beds which lined the walls. A loud bang came from one of the tall closets. The blond smiled an awkwardly. Celia opened the door the rest of the way and took a cautious step inside.
The girl looked past Celia. "Nobody's with you, right?"
"No," Celia cautiously replied.
The girl relaxed a bit, "Good." She got up off the bed. "You guys can come out now," she said.
A boy with bright red hair and blue eyes rose from under the covers of the bed she had been laying on. He crawled off and stood up. He wore a purple striped shirt and a pair of jeans. "Hey," he waved his hand.
The doors on one of the closets flung open, and a boy with dark brown hair came crashing to the ground. He groaned. "Why did I have to get the closet?"
The girl pointed to the boy on the ground, "That's Connor," she said. "The red-head's Jacob, and I'm Maggie."
"Hi, nice to meet you all," Celia said. She looked at them all, curious. "Hey, um," she paused, not knowing what question to ask first. "Why where you guys hiding?" she decided to ask first, pointing to the two boys.
"School rule, guys aren't allowed in girl's dorms, and girls aren't allowed in guy's dorms," Jacob said.
"Well that's an... interesting rule," Celia replied. She took a few more steps inside the room and shut the door behind her. She laid her suitcase flat on the bed opposite of her new roommate. She sighed.
