Silence.

There was a heavy silence between us , suddenly I started laughing.

'Dear god ! This isn't an audition for a comedy show   ... I'm sorry to break it to you but I think your in the wrong house so I suggest you leave. '

Dominic stayed silent. With his cold expression on but I can see that there is a storm behind his dark sea coloured eyes .

"Alright " was all he said before leaving the house .

"Listen Rickard i- .. " I started but he cut me off .

"It Rick . and why don't you listen to me first . Dominic is not a bad guy okay ? , he does everything for a reason, Dominic has this enemy... Umm actually a cousin who hates Dominic's guts , they have been enemys for along time now , and this enemy will do anything to bring Dominic down , to see him and his business fall , so the moment he finds out about you .... It will be his golden chance to ruin Dominic's reputation he will create horrible stories and spread the around th--"

" wait . That still doesn't make any difference. He is still doing this for himself. And I don't understand ! How is bringing ameila and I to his house is supposed to help ?"

"Well if you would let me complete ! Hmm where was I ? Ah right ! So Dominic's cousin/enemy will find out about you two . It's his goal , he has been searching for flaws and mistakes Dominic made ,  and it will not only be Dominic's reputation in danger, but your as well , your gonna lose alot of thing but mainly respect,  oh and your daughter ? She's gonna suffer the most , he can band her from all school in the country,  and she will suffer mentally. ... "

I stayed silent because honestly I have nothing to say .

"Alright alright we'll think about it okay ? It was nice meeting you Rickard. We'll inform you when she makes her decision "
Mom said quickly trying to give him some hints to leave .

Rick handed mom a card and gave her a polite smile as he went out through the door .

I was still in shook .. and honestly , I feel like my brain cells are dying .

" mom I'll go sleep .. well talk about this tomorrow "

"Okay darling. . Sleep the night off , everything will be okay . Remember baby , god has plans for everyone okay ? Now go sleep tight "

And that's my mom . She always support every decision we make and - just kidding. . She's gonna give me a long ass speech in the morning about what's wrong and what's right , and honestly I got used to it . Actually i love it when she lectures me like that , it makes me feel like she cares about me , and i know that no matter how old I grow she will always see me as her littel baby .

And with that I went to sleep . Ahhh how much I love sleeping .

" mom ! Mommmy ! " I started opening my eyes to Ameila's voice .
" good morning princess " I said in my sleepy voice .

Ugh the sun is literally burning my eyes .what day is it anyways?

Suddenly eveything from yesterday started flashing back . Oh god ... do I really have to deal with life right now ?

" mom look what I drew ! This one right here is you ! In the pink  princess dress , and the this is me ! Look at my green dress !! .. Mommy is this green , or light green ? What do you call it Mommy ?"
And she kept on rambling about the pic she drew , I sat on the bed to look at the drawing .
" Umm what a beautiful picture! It's perfect! ! And sweetie you can call this color minty green "
" Okay!Thanks mama ! I'm gonna go show Adrian! "
" he's here ? "

" yupeeee ! He's helping grandma cook !"

.. is this a prank or what ? Adrian is at home in saterday ? Helping mom ?

I brush off the thought as I went to the bathroom to get ready .

After I was fully dressed I took a look on the mirror,  today I wore a blue long sleeve shirt that complimented my eyes and i only found my eveyday brown maxie skirt, I washed it yesterday so yeah ! It dried up pretty quickly.
After I finished i went to the living room .

"Good morning sleeping beauty " mom greeted me with kiss on the cheek .

" more like a beast " Adrian murmured as I sent him death glares "

"Anyways maddy your brother heard eveything yesterday and we both discussed what's good for you and we believe it's better if you  go , give it a chance for Ameila's sake , but sweetie if things didn't turn out well . ...
I think I know that the strong girl I've raised won't let anyone step on her , so the moment they do you wrong , your gonna pack your bags and take the first bus back to the village. "

"Umm are those eggs hmm I'm hungry! " I said trying to change the subject as the both gave me weird look .
I started eating " ameila , baby did u eat ? "
" yes mom . Adrian gave me food "
I nod my head as I completed eating .

" look maddy .. think before you make any decision " Adrian said as he took his pack bag .
" when did you turn so wise huh ? "
He rolled his eyes at me before turning away .
" where are you going idiot ?"
"Mind your business " Adrian said he left .
"Shut up ! I'm your sister jerk !"
I yelled after him he was already out of sight  .
"Thanks for the eggs mama , I'll have to go to work now , I am already late , take care of Ameila " I said as I ran out the door .
" have a good day baby ! " I heard her say after me .

I can already tell that today is gonna be a long day .  And I don't think I am mentally ready for that .
