The Doctors

Pat's POV
After Jen had settled in bed and I'd made her, her ginger tea I lay down on the bed next to her and said "I think we should take you to the doctors tomorrow, Jen". She rolled over and said "yeah me too, we need to work out why I keep feeling sick all the time". And with that she went to sleep so I crept out to give her peace.

*Next Day*
Pat's POV
I wake up when I hear Jen getting up and running for the bathroom. She's been up and down all night throwing up. I get up and go into the bathroom to comfort her, she looks absolutely exhausted. "Hey it's okay, don't worry!" I keep telling her this until she'd finished. We got up and went back to the bedroom, Jen went and got dressed and so did I.
After we were both ready we got in the car to drive to the doctors, Jen was sitting next to me playing with her wedding ring, she usually does this when she's nervous. "You feeling okay over there Jen?" "Yep I'm doing okay, just worried." "Don't be too worried Jen! I'm sure you've just got the flu or something like that." "Yeah you're right, I don't know why I'm so worried."
Jen's POV
We pulled in the car park at the doctors and I was getting out I felt sick again and ended up throwing up next to the car. Why does this keep happening? After I felt a bit better we walked into the doctors and they took us into a room to ask what's wrong.
"Hello Jennifer, I'm Dr Browne. What seems to be the problem?" "Well I keep throwing up and this has been going on for the past 30 or so hours, I was up most of last night." After I said all that and answered a few more questions the doctor asked if she do a few tests on me. I was made to lay down and get an ultrasound. I was super nervous about this but Pat was standing by my side, holding my hand. "Well Jennifer it looks like you're actually pregnant and that's why you've been so sick all of a sudden." "OMG REALLY??" Pat and I both screamed at the same time. The next thing I did was jump up and hug Pat really tight! "Ah Jen you're going to kill me!" He laughed, we were so happy!
