At Home

Pat's POV
Well we've been home a few days since...well you know. And Jen won't leave the house. She won't get out of bed, or even eat. I'm so scared to leave her alone, but I need to go to the store. I think I'll risk it. She's sleeping. I'll be quick.

Jen's POV
I heard the front door shut. "He must be going to the store. I've got at least an hour or so." I ran into the bathroom and locked the door. I pulled out my pocket knife and started cutting my arm and wrist. Blood goes everywhere. "Shoot. This is gonna take a bit to clean up..." I hear something scratch at the door. I jump and turn around thinking it's Pat. Suddenly I realize it's only Cloud. "Not now please Cloud." I say. I hear him walk away. I do the same thing to the other arm then begin to clean up my mess and bandage my arms. "Pat can't know I'm like this. He'll kill me. I've just been so depressed and upset since everything happened with out baby...This is the only thing that makes me feel better, well until the regret and guilt kicks in anyway. I can't have him worried or suspicious." After I've cleaned up and fixed my arms up, I start feeling really dizzy. Suddenly everything goes black...

*2 hours later*

Pat's POV
Walking through the front door, I call out to see if Jen's awake. "Jen. I'm home love. You awake?" No reply. "Huh she must still be sleeping. I'll just go check on her." I gently open the bedroom door. Jen didn't seem to be there. "Where could she be? Maybe she finally decided to get out of bed. Our house is quite big. I'll walk around and see where she is."
