••Chapter 32••

One month later

"Zayn, come on. We're going to be late!" Yelled Liam from downstairs as he waited for Zayn so they could go to their ultrasound.

Zayn rolled his eyes as he grabbed his phone before leaving his room.

Yeah it's been a month and two weeks since Zayn told Liam about the baby. No Zayn and Liam are not back together yet. They decided to take things slow by the time until the baby is born. Eventually they'll move in together when Zayn turns five months pregnant. Zayn decided to stay the first five months with his mum since she's had more experience with being pregnant and having kids. So it will be easier for Zayn to learn from his mum.

"I'm coming I'm coming. Don't need to get yourself all worked up, geez Liam. It's hard being pregnant."

"I'm sorry, it's just that I'm just really excited to go to my first ultrasound. You know with the baby I-I get to hear the baby's heart for the first time since I didn't know about..."

Zayn covered Liam's mouth up. "Liam, you're rambling. It's okay calm down it will be alright okay?"

Liam nodded. "Yeah sorry, it's just um nervous. It's my first time having a baby." That made Zayn breathe in sharply.

He still hasn't told Liam about him aborting his first baby. And he plans to keep it that way for a while. Eventually Zayn will feel guilty about it during the day and tell him.

Zayn gave Liam a fake smile. "Just relax everything will be fine."

On the drive to the doctors, Zayn couldn't help but think about what Liam said earlier.

"It's my first time having a baby."

Zayn couldn't feel more guiltier than ever. Well excluding when he didn't tell Liam about the baby.

Zayn was taken away from his thoughts when Liam spoke up.

"You think we'll find out the gender?" Liam asked in a hopeful voice.

Zayn turned to Liam and shyly smiled at him. "Actually..."

"Zayn, are you telling me you already know the gender and you didn't even tell me?" Liam asked as he parked the car in front of the building.

Zayn nodded. "Yeah, and um we're not having a baby."

Liam furrowed his eyebrows. "Zayn what are you talking about?"

Zayn rolled his eyes fondly. "Liam, we're having twins, a baby girl and baby boy." Zayn said smiling.

Liam had his mouth hung open as he rubbed his forehead. "You mean I'm gonna have"

Zayn chuckled. "Yes Liam, we're having twins."

This made Liam smile even more. He always saw himself as a father to a baby girl or boy but he never thought about twins.

When they got inside the building, Zayn went to go sign in. As he sat down Liam started asking all these questions.

"And we're gonna have to move into a bigger home when they get older cause you know they're gonna want their personal space. Oh my Allah what are we gonna name them? Zayn?!"

Zayn chuckled. "Liam calm down we have eight months left to think of names for them." Zayn kissed Liam's cheek to get him to calm down.

"Zayn Malik?" One of the nurses said "Dr. Edwards is ready to see you." Zayn nodded as he got up.

"Wait Perrie  works here now?" "No, her mum is working and I decided to get checked by her. I feel more comfortable with her."

Liam nodded his head as in he understood what Zayn meant.

"Hey, Zayn. Ready for your ultrasound-" Dr. Edwards's stop mid sentence when she saw Liam with Zayn.

"Oh, Liam uh it's good to see you. It's been sometime."

"It's only been a month and two weeks- oh yeah it's been a while." Said Liam

Dr. Edwards wasn't very fond of Liam after what Zayn told her what happened back at camp. She's probably stopped being fond of him since then. In fact she's never been fond of him.

"So, ready for the ultrasound to begin?" Zayn nodded as he lifted his shirt up.

"Okay now-"

"I know how it works Dr. Edwards. First I'll feel a cold gel touch my stomach and then you'll find the babies heartbeat with the wand." Dr. Edwards chuckled.

"sorry, I didn't mean to make it come out like that-" "Zayn,  I understand its the hormones you're having with the babies.

Zayn laughed nervously.  "Shall we get started, Zayn?" Zayn nodded as he waited for the doctor to look for the babies heartbeats.

Zayn gushed. "Look, Lee. Our babies." Liam looked at the monitor and immediately fell in love with the view in front of him.

"A-Are those our" Dr. Edwards nodded. "Yup, those are your babies. One healthy boy and one healthy girl."

Liam smiled widely as he continued to stare at the screen. "Can I have a picture of the ultrasound, please?" the doctor nodded. "Ill be back with your picture." Dr. Edwards  said has she cleaned Zayn's belly off.

"wow, I cant believe it. I'm gonna be a dad." Zayn smiled and shook his head. "Well you better believe it, your the only other guy I ever fucked with."

"Zayn, there are children in here." Zayn rolled his eyes. "yeah in my stomach." Liam chukled and kissed Zayn's forehead.

"I love you." said Liam. Zayn took in a sharp take of air. "Too early?" said Liam. "a little bit." said Zayn

"alright I have your pictures. You may now go home, Zayn. Have a wonderful day you two."

"Thank you."
