The last couple of days have been routine: wake up, shower, eat, spend all day outside, eat again, and go to sleep. Nothing ever was exciting here. We went to the mall once, but it didn't have the normal mall stores. A JcPennys, a couple of shoe stores, and a sports store. How exciting huh? Ana found a lot of cool things some how.

Ana and Dominic didn't really like to hang out with me, unless they had to. It didn't really bother me having to stay at my dads all day. Just wish I had at least one friend here. Mark hardly texted me, just to check on me and to say good night or good morning, and my mom was her normal freak self, calling every night to see if I wanted to come home yet.

The breeze outside was wonderful. For being June it wasn't really that hot here. But then again dad said it had to do something about being lower down then the rest of the world. I never really got anything geographical about the world so I just nodded like I knew what was going on.

"Hey Aiyana why don't you and Ana go down to the store and get me some lemon juice for dinner tonight?" Brenda was yelling from the kitchen.

"Yeah sure" I looked at Ana, which was sitting across from me at the kitchen table.

"Mom I got things to do why don't you ask Dominic" she raised her eyebrow at me before she got up and walked out the door.

"Analyssa Marie!" Brenda's tone was soft, even if she was trying to sound mad.

"I'm so sorry Aiyana, she can be harsh sometimes"

"It's ok Brenda, if you can point me the way to the store I can go" I was hoping she would let me go by myself.

"Oh, um...do you have your license Aiyana?"

"Yeah, I got them when I turned 16" now I was raising the eyebrow.

What dummy don't have their license? I wanted to yell at her but knew I better just shut up. I watched her as she paced from the sink to the stove like she was nervous. She then grabbed another pot from the rinse rack.

"Ok Aiyana, all I need is lemon juice. The store is just down the road about ten miles or so" she dug into her pocket and took out a set of keys.

"It's the red car outside, and Aiyana, be careful please"

"Yes Brenda, I will" I flashed her a fake little smile before I walked out the door.

Christ did I really seem that reckless? 'be careful please' I was mocking her as I walked to her little red car. The inside smelt like rotten onions of some sort. But I didn't let that bother me. I rolled down the window and pulled out.

I looked on both sides as I reached the ten mile mark but didn't see no store. At the 15 mile mark I decided to turn around and go back the other way. I was kind of glad to get out of the house felt sort of closed in and watched at all times. Like a monkey in a zoo.

I couldn't help but laugh at that one.

I finally found the store. It wasn't a huge store just a small grocery store. I walked through the isles looking for the lemon juice. I never went grocery shopping with my mom so looking for the lemon juice was harder then it sounded.

Another man was in the same isle I was looking, he cleared his throat so I thought he was trying to get threw so I moved closer to the shelves. When he cleared his throat louder I was getting bothered so I started to walk away.

"Wow are you following me Aiyana?" the voice surprised me.

I turned around to find Donovan standing there with a huge smile on his face.

"Shouldn't I be saying that to you?" I walked closer to Donovan.

"Hey my mom owns this store, what's your excuse?"
