Jonathan’s POV
I looked down at my hand, gently being brushed against Kyle’s hand as we walked over to the bleachers. I looked over at Kyle and noticed his smile. His smile seemed to be filled with happiness. I wonder if it’s because we’ve had a good day or that we’re officially a couple now? Heh, I think it’s the last one. If only he actually knew. If only he knew I’m just using him. I know that it’s rather mean of me and every once in a while I feel guilty but then I think of her. Her bright smile, her cheerful attitude, flow-y long blonde hair always makes my heart flutter. Just thinking of her makes me think that even if I’m doing this to a good friend of mine, in the end it’ll be worthwhile since I’ll be with her.
I always knew that Kyle was a good guy. His attitude towards others was funny to watch and he seemed like the type of guy who wouldn’t necessarily have an interest in these like love or dating. That’s another reason as to why I don’t feel as much guilt as I should.
As we were entering our football field, I saw her. Rose was there sitting on the bleachers chewing gum. She seemed to be looking at the football players practice for their next game. I saw her head turn towards us so I quickly intertwined my fingers with Kyle’s. I thought I saw Kyle blush but I shook the thought away as I notice Rose’s body to be tense. Hmm maybe this will work! To have Rose become jealous and have her make the first move towards me will be the day that my mission was a success~
“ Oh hey lovebirds” Rose said in her utmost boring tone she could muster. If it was anyone else, they would have thought that she just didn’t care but I’m not anyone else. I’m her childhood friend and I noticed that she said ‘lovebirds’ with a slight annoyance to it. I mentally smirked.
“Shut up Rose” I heard Kyle say to Rose. I slightly tightened my grip on his hand. I never liked it when he was mean to Rose.
“ Hmmm, Kyle is that perhaps a blush on your face?” A suave, deep voice said out of nowhere. I recognized it as Lou’s voice. I hadn’t even notice he was here. I looked to my right and saw Kyle flustered. Lou was right, he did have a blush. That blush was so light that one couldn’t be able to see unless if you were really close to him. Lou wasn’t anywhere near Kyle though. He was at the top of the bleachers. Lou shouldn’t have been able to notice that blush unless if he was really looking at Kyle. I wonder….
Before I could ponder anymore on it Kyle spoke. “I do not have a blush on my face Lou! It’s just your imagination. And besides, how would you have noticed it if you are all the way up there hmm?” Kyle smirked afterwards.
Lou stood up and started to walk down towards us. “Well because it is so easy to notice it on your pale face. What makes it stand out even more is your hair color.” He said smoothly, standing in front of Kyle.
“Just because my hair color is a mix between dirty blonde and dirty red doesn’t mean that it’ll be visible!” Kyle yelled out again in frustration, looking up at Lou since he was much taller.
“On the contraire my dear. All of that makes it more noticeable and it makes someone want to….” Lou leaned in close to Kyle’s ear whispering something. Instantly Kyle blushed furiously and cupped his ear with his hand. He turned around to glare daggers at Lou’s back as he began to walk away whistling.
I tugged on Kyle’s hands. “What he say to you Kyle?” I asked him. He calmed down his blush.
“Nothing. Nothing at all” he muttered as if to convince himself it really was nothing. I decided to drop it. Whatever he said to Kyle really wasn’t important. I didn’t really care. A thought popped in my head and I slightly smirked.
I moved my hands so they rest on Kyle’s waist and pulled him closer to me. I lowered my head down and stared at Kyle’s eyes. His eyes slowly closed and at that moment I looked at Rose through the corners of my eye and noticed something. I looked back to Kyle and finally kissed him. He moved his lips against mine and wrapped one of his hands in my hair. I then slid my tongue slowly on his bottom lip and almost immediately he opened his mouth for me. I quickly went in and rubbed my tongue against him rather rough and fast. He responded with the same amount of force and soon he lowly moaned. That surprised me a bit so I peeked at him and noticed he was blushing. Needing oxygen at that moment, I broke the kiss and rested my forehead against Kyle’s. He was panting a little. I then felt a smack to the back of my head causing me to yelp in pain. As I rubbed the back of my head, I heard Rose say “No PDA while in school. Go get a room or something!” I looked up ahead to where Rose was walking inside the school. I felt proud that I caused her to get annoyed at me and my ‘boyfriend’ kissing in front of her. Rose was always the first to show public affection during school when she was with one of her boyfriends. It was very hypocritical of her to say for us not to show it. I chuckled at her slightly childish manner but then I frowned. Rose went out with almost any hot guy that passed by her. I hated knowing the fact that at the moment she probably went to see her boyfriend.
I don’t care that she’s with someone now since soon enough I would have her. She’ll be mine and mines alone. I smiled at that thought. I got up and started fast walking to the school when I heard the school bell ring indicating lunch was over. I heard Kyle yell out my name a couple of times but I ignored him. My next class was with Rose and I wanted to sit next to her. With that in mind, I made it in time to class and I was able to sit next to her. Aren’t I lucky?
Haha well here is chapter 2! Took me forever to type since I would get distracted in doing something else ( singing, although horribly, and talking with a friend through twitter~) but anyway I don’t think I did so good in this chapter. Or well idk tell me in your comments and I’ll try to improve~ well thanks for reading! J
