I was sitting in my room. I was drawing little doodles in my note book. I hear my mom call me down.
I get up and walk down to see what she wanted. When I reach the bottom she sends me a smile.
"Yes mother" I say curious of what she wanted.
"I wanted you to go welcome are new neighbors" she asks. I think when did we get new neighbors, maybe I just that out of it.
"Sure" I smile walking over to the door putting on my shoes that were next to the door. I open the door and walk out and over to the neighbors.
When I reach the door step I knock. As I stand there I look around seeing nothing constructive being done out here, they must have just moved in.
"Can I help you?" I hear a raspy voice call. I focus on the voice. When I look I see a teenage boy probably about my age. The first thing I notice is He has a sharp jawline and that he has beautiful chocolate eyes that you just wanna stare at. Wait I'm loosing track stay focused.
" I wanted to welcome you too the neighborhood" i smile and put my hand out.
"Fuck off" he slams the door.I stand there not really knowing what to do.
I turn around and start walking towards my house. When I get inside my mom comes up to me.
"Did you welcome the neighbors?" She asks.
"Yeah"
"Were the nice?" She's ask.
"Oh just wonderful mom" I add a little sarcasm with a fake smile.
"Give them time sweetie" she assures me walking into the kitchen. I walk up stairs to my room and continue what I was doing.
I sit back in front of my window and continue my doodles. The cool breeze hitting my legs making me feel like I'm at a beach.
I sit and ponder on why he was so mean. I didn't even say that much and he was being rude.I remember my dad said once that there's good in everyone.
Maybe my moms right maybe he is nice, maybe he's just shy or something.
