I just wanted to say, that I know I said the main character in this will be traveling, I just haven't got to that part yet, so if you were looking forward to the traveling part it will be coming up in the next couple parts.

I woke up that morning and I didn't know where I was for a split second, then realized. I went into Anthony's bathroom to rinse my face, it always woke me up. I then went downstairs and didn't see Anthony. There was a note on the counter.

Went to the store to get some things, be back later :)

I was starving, so I looked in the fridge for some milk & in the pantry for any kind of cereal I could get. There was some no name brand, rip off of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I took a bowl and poured some in it. I then ate it up and put the dishes away in the dishwasher and I thought that kitchen was a bit of a mess so I just decided to straighten up, I put on some music. He also had a speaker so I decided to connect my phone to it since no one else was home and Anthony was away. When I was really young and my mom asked me to clean anything I always made sure I had music on. Eventually I would volunteer to clean things like the kitchen and my room and her room, just so I had something to do why I listened to music.

Anthony's POV:

I pulled up to the drive way of my house and heard what sound like Nelly Furtado's Maneater and man did my childhood come rushing back. I instantly thought of all those old song my mom would play, including things like Rehab by Amy Winehouse & even older song like Dream On by Aerosmith and Like A Prayer by Madonna. I loved those songs so much. I opened the front door and saw Opal dancing and cleaning the kitchen, for whatever reason, but I didn't mind it. She didn't notice me yet, the music was still up and very loud. I closed the door quietly so I didn't disrupt her and so she didn't feel embarrassed and would keep on dancing.

Back to Opal's POV

I heard the door close but I didn't want to stop dancing because then he'd know I heard him come in, I wanted to see how long I could keep going before he actually said something to let me know he was there. I heard him slowly work his way over to me. I didn't turn around, so it looked like I was still occupied. I had my hand up in the air while doing something with the other. I then felt him grab my hand and twirl me around, ya know, like they do at a fancy ball in the movies. He pulled me into his chest and then I quickly backed up, laughing along with him.

"Don't think you were slick, I heard you walk in." I said.

"I was hoping I'd scare you."

I just laughed slightly.

"Well nice try!" I said

"So what's going on here?" He said.

"Oh, I decided to get something to eat and when I was done I just decided to clean up a bit and listen to some music."

"I see." He said with a smirk.

"So what's happening today?" I said.

"I don't have plans, so I was thinking, maybe I could take you to this restaurant, it's expensive, but it's worth it. I'd go to it all the time when I was a kid on vacation, and don't worry, it's not some place like Wendy's." He said.

"I'd love to."

"Don't you have plans with Sadie?"

"No, since yesterday didn't go as planned, we were going to out the day before she leaves one last time." I could tell he felt a little sorry for me. I didn't know if this 'date' was because he thought I was lonely or he was really into me, but it didn't matter, because I needed to get away for a little.
