"Goodnight, Anna." Pricilla said, closing my bedroom door. The room was dark, and a slight chill crept in through the unlocked, slightly opened window.
"We'll see about that." I whispered. Quietly, trying not to make any noise at all, I crept from my bed. I crouched down and slid my hand under the mattress, wrapping my fingers around the sack of food I stole from the kitchen. Two apples, two water bottle, a ham and cheese sandwich, a bag of carrots, and of corse, plenty of chocolate candies. I flung the sack over my shoulder and crept over to the window.
The window in my bed room was usually very creaky when you slide it open the beginning of the way, so early today, I took care of that issue by slightly opening the window. Pricilla didn't notice the slight opening when she closed the curtains, nor did she notice the chilly air in my room when she lit my night light.
Now, at 10:30 pm, I silently slid open the glass the rest of the way. I carefully slipped my legs out the window, and with very careful placement, I positioned my boots on the slopped, snow covered roof outside my window. Perfect. I slipped out the rest of the way, taking a slight step forward.
I stepped on a slippery, icy spot on the roof, and before I could register what was happening, I was slipping. I slid down the remaining roof, rolling and eventually tumbling off the ledge of the castle, and plummeting into a deep snow pile.
"Dang it." I said under my breath. My entire snowy white gown was soaked. My dress resembled a fluffy, wooly wedding dress. I wore a white, genuine wolf fur parka hat, and white, laced up snow boats. A lot of white, but that's the only snow related clothing that was remaining in my wardrobe. Pricilla keeps all the winter clothing in a separate closet, to make space for warm, summer dresses and bathing suits.
Now I was faced with a problem. Where to head? I picked up my food sack, and brushed the snow off my dress. In front is me was a large, snowy field, in perfect view of almost every house in Arendelle. Just perfect. Not.
I began to make the long trudge across the open. The good thing about my outfit was that all of the white blended in with the snow.
I was about half way across the field when I felt a weird feeling. At first, I couldn't put a finger on it. Then I knew: I was being followed. I glanced behind me, but I only succeeded at getting a face full of snow flakes and a shade pinker on my cheeks. But still, I hurried on a little faster, occasionally looking back. The feeling never left.
I was almost to the other side of the field, where the land met the fjord, when I felt an icy hand on my shoulder. A chill went down my already frozen spine, and my foggy breath caught in my throat.
I tried to scream, but nothing came out. It was horrifying.
"What do you think your doing, Anna?" I turned around slowly, afraid of what I might find........
"AHHHH!"
