"Wow there, feisty pants! It's just me!" Hans yelled, after I screamed in his face. When I saw him, I jumped back "Hans! What was that for! You scared me-" I hesitated, and then saw the good in his appearance. I threw my arms around him, and then it hit me- what if my scream woke up the palace people? I broke away from Hans and started to babble. "What if... They find me because my scream woke up the palace, probably, and then they'd ask me where I'd been, and then-"
Hans kissed me, shutting me up. When he pulled away, he said, "They won't, unless we get going." I nodded. "Your coming too?" I asked. It's his turn to nod. Then, he grabbed my hand and we started our trudge through the snow. After several minutes, we made it to the other side, where snow meets ice. The frozen fjord lay ahead of us.
I held Hans for support as we walked/slid across the fjord. I slipped, probably twelve times, nine of those falls were caught by Hans. The others were where I fell. Suddenly I wished I had remembered to bring my ice skates, so I could so simply skated across the fjord.
Snow flakes fell through the sky, biting my cheeks and stinging my eyes. It was no little storm, this was a blizzard. Hans and I got to the other side of the fjord pretty quickly. When we got to the other side, I stopped. Hans looked down at me for further instruction, and then I realized I had no real plan. What did I assume? Hey! Let's just skate here, wup-dee-doo, and- oh hey! There's Elsa problem solved ok lets go home.
But seriously, I had no idea where to go. I kinda shrugged at Hans, and making a nervous giggle. "Uh, any ideas?" I asked. Hans turned to look up to the top of a mountain, more a silhouette in the dark, and looked back down at me. "If I were a self centered, solitary queen who treats her sister like a piece of dust, I would leave Arendelle and go as far away as possible, right up there." He said, pointing to the mountain in the distance.
He had a point. We agreed, so we started our way into the dark, pine woods that laid in front of us. With they castle out of sight, I started to feel more safe. No one would come after us now. The snow only got thicker and heavier, which was not helping us. Plus, Hans did not come prepared for snowy whether when he came from the Southern Isles for Elsa's coronation day. Wow, that seemed so long ago.
About all this snow though... Why? Elsa runs away in a blizzard. In the middle of summer. Why? All this was too confusing. When they said "climate change", I wasn't expecting this! I sighed. I wonder what Elsa thinks of all this snow. She probably hates it, because obviously if she liked it, then she would want to build a snowman when I asked her, like 2939292083 times. Elsa and snow don't work together.
I looked up and saw a giant, full moon. Beautiful. All of a sudden, Hans tapped me, and pointed. At first, I couldn't see it. Then it was so obvious. Light! There was light ahead! "C'mon!" I yelled, and dragged Hans with me. I was so mesmerized in the light, that I didn't see the cliff in front of me until I fell over it, Hans screaming for me.
