We Belong Together

Chapter Four: Part Two

Andrew's POV

I woke up at exactly six in the morning... I went inside the bathroom, intervening the two bedrooms, mine and Nigel's. I fixed myself and washed my face. I came out to eat breakfast, and I noticed that Mom and Dad were out for work. My brothers and sister are ready for school, I find my seat and joined them for breakfast. In my peripheral vision, I can see that Claudia is using my phone. I am positive that I could get it back, I just don't have enough courage to confront her. I really want to get it back for the sake of my rights, and for the sake of Billie.

"Whoah. You have a new phone? Where did you get that?" Nigel interrupted my thoughts.

"Yeah. Good as new. You wanna look?" Claudia replied. Nigel took my phone and examined its side. "It's nice... How did you get it?" Nigel added.

"Well..." It looks like Claudia is out of words and thinking what to say. I remembered Billie's words yesterday, "If you don't have self-confidence you can't fight alone"... I better grab this oppurtunity or it's too late.

"Actually, that's mine." I grabbed the phone harshly from Nigel's grip.

"What?" Nigel was confused of what I did. And I can see the shock in Claudia's eyes. "That is mine Andrew. Give it back." She reached for my phone, but I react so fast and tighten my grip in it. "This is mine. This is actually mine. Billie gave it to me yesterday as an Anniversary gift. You better ask Mom and Dad, Nigel... And even Billie." I burst out.

I feel so lonely inside the house... Mom and Dad wanted me to rest for the whole day, they resist my offer to help them throughoutthe day even if I won't accept any money. But they want me to stay, so I obey. Right now, I'm bored. I want something to read or to entertain me. I tried to watch different game shows in our small TV, but I'm still bored. I want to go outside. Dad and Mom's phone numbers touched my thoughts. Maybe I could go out and tell them what I feel right now. So I wrote a text message for them.

"Mom, Dad. Can I go out to see the sun and the sky? And all of the beautiful views outside? Please. I really felt bad stucked in our house for the whole day. Please... I promise I would take care of myself."

After a couple of minutes we settled down, they let me to go out as long as I have enough budget for transportation, meal, or anything I might needed. I got dressed and prepare my things. In my small shoulder bag, I got a bottle of water and a powder to freshen me up. I also have my wallet and phone. I can't believe that I finally got it back. Now, I promise to myself that I will be tougher. She will never bring me down. Ever.

It's already one in the afternoon. I secured our home before I go out. I starve, and I was thinking of a California Maki and some Chicken Soup, I also want some dessert. I can't wait to start my adventure, so I waited for a cab under the sun. Oooooh. So hot.

I stunned when I heard Billie's voice. "Can I have an adventure with you?"

"Friendship?"

Billie hugged me so tight. "Please Friendship... Let me." She begged. I remained speechless and I was caught off guard.

"What are you doing here?" I finally asked.

"This will be the part two of our anniversary celebration..." She giggled.

"Oooh." I nod and smiled.
