I looked around, this place seemed so familiar.
I was standing in an old house, that looked like it hadn't been lived in for years.
I slowly started walking around, hoping to find clues on how I got here. The last thing I remembered was replacing the control panels inner plating.
I opened the nearest door, and peered into the room. It was the living room, I could tell, and old Tv still sat in the corner, and a worn brown sofa was placed up against the wall.
Fully walking into the room, I felt my foot hit something, and looked down to see what it was.
A beady eyed teddy bear looked back at me. Picking him up, a sense of nostalgia came over me, and I held him close to my chest.
This was my house.
This was my bear.
Keeping the bear wedged between my arms, I continued exploring. It had been many years since I'd been in this house, almost a life time ago.
I walked up the rickety stairs, and looked around the second floor. It was just as I had remembered it, two rooms on each side of the small hallway.
Opening the first door, I saw a small room containing nothing but a double bed and an old dresser. It was my moms room.
I closed the door, then turned around. This one must be my old room.
Slowly opening the door, I looked inside. Everything was exactly as I remember it, purple walls, my white bed sheets, and many stuffed animals lying around.
I walked over to my old desk, and slid open its drawer. Many scrap
parts I'd collected filled it to the top. I also had a small screw driver, and some wires. This is were I had started, with nothing but some scrapes and a screw driver. It was honestly really humbling, but I also remembered what came of it, and forced myself to shut the drawer.
I exited the room and closed the door behind me. Looking around, I found I was no longing in my old house.
Now I was in our old apartment.
After we couldn't afford to pay the bills on the house anymore, my mom had moved us to a small apartment in the city. I thought it had been destroyed many years ago, yet here I was.
I opened the door I had come out of, and it just led to the bathroom.
I started down the so familiar hallway, and opened the first door on the left, my mom room. Just like at the old house, all it contained was her bed and an old dresser. However, a picture of us hung on the wall above her bed.
Closing that door, I opened the first door on the right. It was just the laundry room. I continued down the hallway, and opened the next door on the left, utilities room.
That left one last door. Taking a deep breath, I slow opened it.
A room not much bigger then my moms came into view, but it was filled to the brim. My twin bed sat against the far wall, and my desk was placed under my one window.
Parts littered the room, everything from broken engines, to even an old android. All stuff I had collected at the junk yard.
I walked over to my desk, and picked up what looked like old blue prints. They defiantly weren't drawn my me, they were to neat.
I tried to read them, but from some reason, I could. They seemed to be written in a different language.
A quickly dropped them, when an explosion sounded behind me. I saw that the android from earlier had exploded, and was now on fire.
"No", I said, my voice laced with panic, "No, no, no, not again, please not again"
The door burst into flames, and I screamed, backing into the wall.
"HELP", I screamed, tears streaming down my face, "ANYONE PLEASE"
You brought this upon your self
"I'm so, so, sorry..."
Repent for your sins, child of metal
"I'm sorry...", I said again, my vision getting blurry, "I'm sorry mom..."

This time when I woke up, I was not only drenched in sweat, but also tears.
Realizing there was no fire, and I was not dying, I laid back down in my bed.
Why now? Why must these dreams taunt me now, almost two years later.
I sighed, and got up to shower. I wasn't going to be falling back asleep anytime soon.

"Aaron", the blonde haired prince said, "I'm telling you, this is really dumb, if we get caught doing this who knows what'll happen"
"Then don't come", I whisper to him, "and keep your voice down, we don't need anyone to recognize us"
I pulled my hood over my head, and Garroth did the same. "I just don't see why you feel the need to do this", he whispered to me, "Why can't we just wait for Nicole to be fix, and then ask her?"
I sighed. "We still don't know how long Nicole is going to take", I told him, as we crossed the busy street, "And while we wait, I'm going to learn as much about the nether as I can"
Garroth nodded. "I guess, but if we couldn't find anything about it in the castle library, what do you expect to find in the public library"
I shrugged, as we crossed another street.
We soon arrive in front of the huge public library. It was one of my favorite places in Falcon Claw, due to its beautiful structure.
It was also one of the original buildings that survived the first war.
We walked in, and went straight to the librarian, who lucky didn't recognize us.
"What can I help you two with today", she asked sweetly, as she stamped books.
"Ugh, we're looking for information on the Nether"
Her smile went away, and her eye grew suspicious. "And what exactly would you need that information for?"
I panic, but Garroth saved us. "We're doing a school project"
"Hmm", she said, unconvinced, "Everything we had on that topic, is in section B"
"Thank you", Garroth said kindly, and we started walking towards section B.
I felt someone grab my arm, and turned around to find the librarian starring at me, a firm grip around my arm.
"I don't know why you would ever want to learn about the Nether", she told me softly, "but use the knowledge carefully, Shad doesn't like having his secrets reveled"
With that, she let go of my arm, and went back to stamping books.
