Chapter 4

(Judy's POV)

"Nick wake up!" I yelled, everyone in my family was up, except him.

"What time is it?" He asked.

"5 in the morning, everyone is up except you." I said.

"Crazy bunnies, why do you have to get up early?" He asked

"Because we live on a farm, and we can't all be lazy like you." I said, frustrated that he won't listen. "Your going to miss breakfast." I said.

"Breakfast!" He said, excited. "Will there be blueberries?" He asked.

"As much as you want." I said, of course his strange addiction to blueberries would get him up.

"Than get up and ready! " I said, slamming the door and leaving to get my self breakfast.

(Nick POV)

"Getting up at 5in the morning." I said, grumbling over this. "I better get some blueberries." I added.

Putting on some clothes and washing up, I went to get some breakfast.

"Good morning Nick." Bonnie said, making pancakes.

"Good morning mrs.Hopps." I said, my mouth watered for some food.

"Here's some pancakes, Judy said you like blueberries so I put some on." She said handing me a plate.

I walked over to the dining room and saw Judy eating her own pancakes.

"Hey Nick, isn't it nice waking up hours earlier than usual." She said, mocking me.

"Very funny." I said, and almost Inhaled the pancakes, they were so good.

"His teeth are so big." I heard wispers coming from little bunnies.

"The better to eat you with, I mean eat the pancakes with." I said, they ran away, I tried to hold a smile in while Judy glared at me.

"Nick!" She yelled at me.

"I didn't do anything." I said innocently.

"Keep that up and I might use the taser on you." She threatened.

"Carrots, I am hurt." I said, putting my paw over my heart.

"Dumb fox." She's said.

"Where's Jack, I haven't seen him all morning." I said.

"He went outside to the fields." She said. "He likes to wander."

"Lets go look for him." I said.

"Sure, we have nothing better to do." She said, and we left to find him.

(Judy POV)

"Maybe we could just call him." I said.

"Fine, take the easy way." Nick said. "Lazy bunny."

I pulled out my phone and called him, after a couple seconds he answered.

"Hey Jack, where are you?" I asked.

"By the barn, you should get here." He said, and hung up.

"He's by the barn." I told Nick.

Finally getting to the barn.

Jack wasn't there.

(Unknown POV)

"Do you have them on you sights." She asked through the radio.

"Yes." I said.

"Shoot the fox!"

(Judy POV)

"Jack said he was here." I said.

"Maybe he was talking about another one on this giant farm." Nick said, obviously bored.

"I know what barn he was talking about, I'll call him again." I said, grabbing my phone but saw a purple dot smash into Nicks neck.

Nick fell down. "Nick are you okay?!" I asked, alarmed.

He started to growl and I understood what happened. He lunged, he was to fast and slashed at my leg. I wasn't able to walk.

"Help!" I screamed, he was on me. Everything happened so fast after that.

(Nick POV)

What happened, Where am I? It looked like I was in a hospital.

"Hello, are you feeling okay?" A nurse came in asking.

"I'm fine, what happened?" I asked.

"Tell me what you remember." She said.

"Me and Judy were looking for Jack, after that my memory gets hazy." I said.

"You were shot with a nighthowler, you became savage, they used a taser on you." She said.

They used a taser on me, probably the fox taser.

"What happened to Judy and Jack?" I asked, did I hurt them?

"You slashed at Judys leg, she needs time to heal her leg, and Jack is missing." She said.

My heart was torn apart, I hurt Judy. I was shocked.

"When can I leave?" I asked impatiently.

"you've been here for a couple days, I need to run some tests to see if your okay." She said.

After what felt like an eternity I was able to leave.

"Where is Judy?" I asked.

"She's in room 120." She said.

I ran to her, finally reaching her door. I opened the door, fearful of what I would see. Judy was in bed, her leg had a cast on, she seemed beat up.

"Oh my God." I was responsible for this, she's in pain because of me.

She woke up. "Hey Nick, are you okay?" She asked.

"Are you serious, You can't even walk because of me, and your asking if I'm okay!?!" I yelled, what's her problem?

"Yes, you were shot by a nighthowler, we don't know who did it or where they got that." She said.

"We can figure that out later, right now we should worry about you." I said.

"Why does it matter, I'm alive and breathing, but I know someone is out there with nighthowler' and we need to stop them!" She yelled.

"Your hurt, you don't always have to be the hero." I said.

"Why do you have to be so protective over me, it's my job, I will get hurt, I signed up for this!" She said.

"But I don't want to see you get hurt, and I was the one who hurt you! Your the one person in this world I care about, my family was taken from me and now I'm afraid of losing you." I was an emotional reck, I never let them see they got too me.

"You weren't yourself it was the nighthowler's, you would never hurt me." She said.

"But I did, and what if it happens again, what if there's no one to protect you." I was losing my mind.

"I can protect myself, you act like I'm a weak little bunny!" She yelled.

"Judith Lavern Hopps! I love you." I said, I was shocked at my sudden outburst, she was shocked. "To see you in pain tears my heart apart."

Befor she could respond I kissed her, to my surprise I felt her kiss back.

"Nicholas Wilde, do you know how long I've waited to hear that." She said.

"Wilde, Hopps!" Someone yelled, it was chief Bogo. "What the hell happened!"
