Chapter 12

Barry's POV
"Okay then, let's go" I say to Cait. She stands up and I grab her by the back. Then she stiffened up and went to grab her coat.

"I want to go home"

"I'll take you, but I think we should take you to the hospital first" I say.

"I want Felicity to take me, only...her" She says.

"Wh-why?" I say and then she looks down at the floor. She doesn't say anything and walks away followed by Felicity. "What did I do wrong?" I say to Oli.

He shrugs his shoulder and says, "Nothing"

"Then why is she acting like she doesn't want to be around me?"

"She needs space" he says.

"I'm going to fix this" I say and ran to Cait. "Cait! Wait up!" they stop and turned around.

"What Barry?"

"Can we talk?" she nods her head and Felicity leaves to give us some privacy. "What's wrong?" she looks down and bites her lower lip.

"Nothing" she mumbles.

"Really? Then why are you trying to be so distant with me?"

"I'm not trying. I am" she says and then a smile spreads across her face. "Do you love me?"

"What? Of course I do. When you were gone, I realized that. I'm in love with you Cait" Is this what she wanted to hear?

"Great, I guess my work here is done" she says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I mean this, us, was just another prank" she smiles. "It was all part of my plan, but of course Felicity wasn't in it because she actually likes Oli, so it was just me on this one" she smirks and crosses her arms towards her chest.

"No, you're lying, you love me too, I saw it, when we went to the bar, our first date, and at the movies it was all real" I say tears blocking my sight.

"I'm sorry, but it was bet, and the bet was that I could make you fall for me, now felicity owes me 50 bucks, so bye" she says and walks away.

Cait's POV
"Let's go, Felicity" I yell to her without looking back. One tear after another runs down my cheeks.

I'm so so sorry Barry.

"What was that?" She asks.

"Nothing..........Me and Barry are through"

"What?! Why?!"

"I'll explain when we get to the dorm" I say. An hour later after being patched up at the hospital we're arrived home and Felicity and I sat down on the couch.

"I'm so sorry, Felicity, you were right, it was Iris, but..."

"What! It was her! I knew it! But why did you lie?"

*Flashback*
"Okay, what do you propose?"

"I wont tell anyone that you kidnapped me, please just let me go!" I say to Iris.

"Fine" I sighed. "But you will stay away from Barry"

"What! No, never" I yell to her and then she walks towards me and throws a left hook.

"You'd rather let me kill you and everyone you care about instead"

"No!.....Fine I'll stay away from him" A smile spread across her face and claps her hands.

"Okay, you will say that it was a guy who kidnapped you okay, here's a picture of him" she says and shows me picture of a guy with blonde hair. "This was your kidnapper, okay?" and I nod. "In order for you to stay away from him, you will leave town, got it?"

"What! Why?"

"So I can make sure you'll actually stay away, so do it...or.."

"I'll do it" I say.

*Flashback ends*

"Iris threatened me. She was torturing me and she was going to do a lot worst than this" I say pointing to my leg. "The deal was that I wouldn't tell it was her. So she let me go and she said to stay away form Barry or everyone I care about would die."

I stared sobbing so hard and hugged Felicity, "It's okay, I understand, but we need to t.."

"We can't tell anyone. Including Barry or the Police, okay?" I ask.

"Okay" she nods her head. "What are we gonna do?"

"I called my parents and umm, I'm moving"

"When?"

"Tonight" I say and she hugs me so tight I couldn't breath.

"You can't go through with this!" She yelled.

"I have to for everyone," I say.

"I'll miss you" we both say in unison.

At the airport
"Don't make better friends than me" Felicity says, and I hug her one last time. I'm tearing already and so is Felicity. "Don't forget about me"

"Never" I say and walk towards the airport. I wave goodbye to her and then I walk inside.

I got ready to board my airplane and I sat at my assigned seat, "Goodbye Barry" I whisper.

I'll love you Forever and Always
