The cool wind swipes in your direction sending shivers all over your body. you fluttered your eyes open, staring at the wooden ceiling above your head. You took a deep breath, wondering why you woke up in the middle of the night.
Sighing, you glanced up the nearest window direction in the cabin as you saw the whole training camp full of light generated by the shining moon above the sky.
you've never wonder why you are sometimes like this, insomnia is always there disturbing your peaceful slumber, slapping your wonderful dreams just to make you wake up.
You also noticed the mysterious footsteps outside when you always wake up. You, Y/n L/n never were surprised if you were very curious, because once you discover something mysterious, you were always curious.
another cool wind slapped into your whole body as it also made you hair flow into your pale face. You glanced up to Annie and Ymir, checking if they were still asleep. Gladly, they were, yet alas, you were still disturbed on why you woke up at this time.
As curiosity invaded your mind, you got up your soft bed, slipping on your shoes, walking clothes and got outside the wooden cabin without leaving a single word.
A swoosh of wind then slapped into your body once again, as you opened the door, but this time, it was colder and stronger.
You rubbed both of you cold arms with your pale hands as you walked outside, closing the door queitly. You began walking towards to a warm spot, hearing your own footsteps touching the brown soil from the ground.
"What are you doing here brat, go to sleep." A deep voice from behind you asked.
"What?" you replied, quite confused as you looked towards the direction where the voice was heard." Oh,you're Heichou Levi..." You added, crossing your arms giving him a not-so-surprised look.
"Yes, I am. Is there a problem with my name?"
"Not at all..." You answered, staring at him coldly returning to your same old position placing your hands on the side, while your boots were dugged into the soil. "Tch, just go back to your cabin, it's 2:00 in the morning." He stated, massaging the bridge of his nose.
You nodded as you turned your head back to the direction of your cabin walking towards it without hesitation.
"Wait." a voice boomed behind you.
"What, Heichou?" you asked in a quite annoyed tone, not looking at his direction once more, nonetheless, you were not even moving. You just stopped in your tracks as you listened to what he was saying.
" What was your name again?" he asked, looking at your direction still keeping a stoic expression on his face. Sighing, you glanced up your cabin.
"My name is Y/n, Y/n L/n..." You stated, walking towards your cabin with nothing stopping you. A few seconds had past, he glanced up to you, checking if you were heading back to your cabin, Gladly, he did see you walking towards it, as he walked away without leaving any signs of words.
But alas, boy was he wrong.
you never got the chance to step on the front porch of the cabin for you took the left direction heading towards the look-out tower. you climbed towards the very top, staring above the sky with your shining e/c eyes.
The moving clouds were running away to fly towards another direction slowly. You then looked down the traning campus seeing it as peaceful yet calm place. The place was filled with a contrast of dull light generated by the shining moon from above the sky.
There were no signs of humanity for they were trapped in their deep slumber inside their assigned cabins not bothering to blink a glance.
'This world is a cruel place' Mikasa would say, but alas, she never encountered the beautiful, yet wonderful things in reality for she took the path of difficulties just to protect Eren.
She never even got time for herself for she prioritized Eren's safety than her's.
'I'll kill all the titans...every last one of them...' Eren would say. Yet you don't even know if you support him or not, his expectations were off the limits for he believe in his self too much. You thought that it would be impossible killing all the titans, saving the world, and save humanity.
But you knew that it would be possible if you tried the impossible, you knew that in every problem, there is always a solution. That's what the soldiers are doing, they are finding the solution of killing the titans so humanity could once lead for a moment.
At this time, you now realized what this whole thing was all about. You always knew that you joined the survey corps just to help them find the solution in this whole problem.
'Ah, Stop...I'm overthinking' You thought as you sighed climbing down the tower, walking towards the cabin you were assigned.
While you were walking, you stopped on your tracks, looking above the sky seeing a bright luminous light, taking over the dull atmosphere. You then realized it was already day time.
"I overstayed..." You murmured, walking towards the destination you are going. You stayed above the tower for almost 3 hours and yet you didn't even notice that time runs faster than a bullet.
You opened the door queitly as you proceeded to let your self fall into your bed, hoping that you would fall in slumber, alas, you neve got the chance for they, have woken you up.
"Y/n...Wake up...It's already 5:00 in the morning...we have to get ready or Heichou Levi would make us clean the whole place." Annie stated as you nodded and proceed to slip on the necessary stuffs.
you then went into the cafeteria, bursting in seeing 4 of your friends sitting on a table clearly waiting for you to come. You walked towards them as you sat down beside Sasha, looking at them like they saw a ghost.
"What the hell happened to you..." Connie asked." What? i'm completely fine..."
"NO...your Eye bags are darker and heavier than usual...you should rest while i'll tell Heichou Levi the problem." Krista stated walking towards the table where captain Levi sat with rest of his group
"Don't..." You yawned as you took a bite on your mashed potato staring at the ceiling for a couple of seconds then proceeded to look at the direction on where Captain Levi was seated.
It seems like Krista was saying something to him, casually taking glances in your direction. as you blinked your eyes tiredly, you finally saw Captain Levi glanced in your direction with suspicions across his eyes.
You didn't really care if he had to punish you for such a stupid idea of not sleeping, for you were not the cause of the insomnia you had last few hours ago.
Oh, was it a good day....
