CHAPTER 2
It is a beautiful day.
I’m so relax and I felt different. I thought I was having one of my best days. The weather is great I look at myself and felt so confident and full of joy. It seemed like nothing could get me upset.
I was walking down the stair when I heard some voices of adults. It was from Mrs. McAllister and other people. I moved slowly to the door to really understand what they were saying. They were talking about me. I stated behind the door until I couldn’t take it anymore.
Out of an impulse I walked inside the room opening the door brutally and screaming at them.
“What!” I said loudly looking at Mrs. McAllister, You are going to do what with me. I was so mad that I couldn’t believed what she was saying. The opinion that she had about me was unacceptable. What have I done to her. I always thought she was one of the best person I was close to that could understand me better than anyone else.
How wrong I was....
Mrs. McAllister was planning to send me away to a military camp where they could straighten me out and teach me to be more respectful according to her.
Have me move to another place?
What is she thinking of, this is the only place that I could call home. This was always my only home. No matter how many people adopted me, I always come back to my house.
And now, they were planning on sending me out with no return why? How can I survive out there?
This was my only home and everyone in this place is my family. The only one I ever knew. If I move, I will be lost, confused and devastated all these people are my family.
“It must be done Katherina, you are just getting too much out of hand. You have been expelled 4 times. There’s no place that will accept orphans. I’m sorry, but you must go”, said Mrs. McAllister.
I was standing in front of her and feeling my blood boiling inside of me trying to understand why she wanted to separate me from my family. I was angry and trying to avoid an aggressive reaction but I couldn’t hold it and I exploited.
“NO, I WILL NOT LEAVE NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY OR DO!!!” I screamed at her.
I felt my skins temperature rising at a fast pace, my fists were so tight, as I was walking towards her. I could see she was scare. She started moving backwards until she ended up in front of a chair and sat down on it. She was looking at me with a face of horror. I could understand why she felt like that.
Did I reflect like I wanted to kill her or eat her from trying to do something against my will. As I was looking at her analyzing her feeling. I felt the sharp teeth in my mouth.
Now, I know why she was so terrified of me. I had the appearance of a vampire. My eyes were pure red and my canine-tooth were sharp and huge. My hands felt more hot than the rest of my body. I looked at my hands and they were full of flames.
“I WILL NOT LEAVE” I told her in a very firm and strong possessive voice. That voice was not me, it seemed like if someone else was saying it for me.
I was completely out of control.
“UNDERSTAND”, I said with a firm voice whispering closed to her ear.
She screamed loudly. The chair where she was sitting down was covered in flames. She screamed so loud that she woke up all the children who were asleep upstairs. They all came down running to see what was going on and why was she screaming.
They saw when Mrs. McAllister was burning and I was standing in front of her doing nothing to save her.
None of the children made a sound, they were just there staring at me and at everything that was happening at the moment. They started going out of the room silently and walking backwards like if they were making sure I wasn’t doing anything to them.
