Chapter 2

I walked up to my room to process what I just learned about myself, I wasn't human, well I was half human the other half... Fairy. Apparently not for long tho my mom said soon they'll come for me as I have become the age 16 and my smell of fairy William overwhelm the demons roaming earth and make them come for me and that they will come to take me home to my father who left me when I was younger right before my 2nd birthday!

What a load of bullshit! Half fairy really mom! What the hell is wrong with her sometimes...

I walked into my bathroom and noticed how pink my eyes were turning it was a birth defect I was told and I usually wore contacts to cover them but recently my eyes have been destroying them. I washed my face and laid on my bed,

"Why do I have to have the psycho mom?" I asked myself

"Well your dad isn't that bad!" Said a voice which startled me off my bed making me land in a plop on the ground!

"Who are you?" I asked the boy who was helping me up

"We'll I'm Brooker, your personal assistant," he said raising his eyebrows

"What do you mean?" I asked extremely confused

"I mean-" he was cut off by my mother bursting in the room

"Brooker," she said

"Kathrine," he said returning her glare, I liked him already

"I'm glad to see your well but aren't you a bit early?" She asked

"Indeed well I am, but the king sent for her now," he said

"Well if she must go then you should stay for dinner," she said emotionless

"I am hungry, that would be wonderful thank you Kathrine," he said

"No Problem, pack your things quickly your leaving after dinner," she said and turned to leave

I ran over and held her shoulder

"What do you mean, do you not care, I see no emotion in your eyes, your about to send me away without a second thought, I've only known you umm MY ENTIRE LIFE!" I yelled searching her eyes for something, anything

"It is the best thing for you, it will help you control your powers and your emotions and its the best way to keep you safe!" She said and turned away and walked down stairs

"I don't get it," I said and plopped on my bed

"I'll explain if you want?" Said Brooker sitting next to me

"Ok," I said and off he went

"Well your mother used to be a fairy, fairest in all the land but in her family there was a curse, that they were never satisfied with what they already had and your mother she had it all, and while she was pregnant with you she gave up her fairy genes to become human, something she didn't have and that's what made you half human, half fairy, which soon enough you could become full since your eyes are pink which means you have every power in the fairy book but only a full fairy can harness it which you can easily develop into seeing your potential, but anyways so your mom became human and conceived you which your father didn't want to be fatherless until your mom cheated on him with a human man and then she gave birth to your sister Amanda. They made an agreement that when your powers start kicking in around the age of 16 and your aging process will start slowing down she would let you come home, questions?" He explained

"Well first of all what are the powers of the fairy book? my age process will start slowing down? Where exactly are we going? And will I be able to come back?" I asked

"The powers are like the four elements air, water, earth, fire or you can have all, like you, which is extremely rare. 1 year in Ora is equal to 3 Earth years so you just age slower and live longer. We are going to Ora. It's depends if you are becoming human then you can unless your royal which you are which means that you can but it takes a lot of energy to do which is why I'm glad your Mother let me stay for dinner!" he finished

Anything else?" He asked

"Nope, that should be good for today," I said sarcastically

"DINNERS READY!" I heard my mom yell and Brooker and I raced down the stairs...
