Chapter 1

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock playing "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" by Nirvana.

"Ugh"

I went to my bathroom and took care of all of my bathroom needs. After which I went into my room to throw on my 'ROOKIE' crop top from Forever 21, some jeans and flats.

"CHANIYAH AND CALVIN!" I scream at the top of my lungs, "It's time to go!"

"COMING!!!" They scream in unison.

After grabbing a quick snack for the bus, we are out the door and walking to our individual bus stops.

I might as well introduce myself, well my name is Cheyenne Jones and I am 15 years old. I live in Brooklyn, New York and my family and I belong to the Night Passion Pack. I am the oldest amongst 3 siblings, Chaniyah who is 10, Calvin who is 8 and Courtney (lives with her mother) who is 5. My mom ,who is 39, had me and my siblings with my dad (her mate) before he left us, yeah, just picked up and left. Crazy right?

When I turn 16, next week, is when I'm supposed to find my mate but whatever, I'm not that worried about it.

When I get to school I see my best friend, Leigh, who turns 16 today, and head right over to her.

"Hey Punk, Happy Birthday!!!", I say, giving her the gift I bought the week before.

"Sup Hoochie, guess what!", she replies right back, taking her gift but not looking inside.

"What?", I say with a bored look, its always something with this girl, Lord.

"Saying 'guess what' is for you to guess. But since your being awkward I'll just tell you.", she says as the bell rings, signaling we have 5 minutes until our first block starts.

"Well would you like to walk and talk because I don't want to be late to class." I say on the way to my locker.

"Ok, yea and.. ikindasortafoundmymateanditsNick, ok bye, have a nice day!" she says very fast, but before she can cut through the crowd of people on their way to class I scream,

"WAIT A F*CKING MINUTE, NICK IS YOUR MATE!!!! OHMAHF*CKINGGAWD!"

With that, everyone within a 10 ft radius heard, and was suddenly very interested.

You see, Nick is one of the most popular kids in this high school, and boy was he a flirt. Last time I heard he was shackin up with the school whore, Lindsay.

Although I was happy for her I hoped that maybe I had a mate that would be as ppopular and hot as him and all of his friends.

A/N:

I won't be doing these every chapter because that's annoying, I just want to let you know that I will be doing a song of the chapter. Also, the only time I will ever do A/N's is if I won't be updating for a long time or something of the sort.
