"We're cats!" 106 yowled.

"How is this possible?" 173 meowed.

"Well, you know how 106 intended to take us into his pocket dimension, he must have taken us into a dimension where the sapient forms are cats, or at least a dimension with cats that are sapient along with other life forms. Sort of like a parallel." 049 meowed, almost stating this like a reflex action.

"Damn!" 106 meowed angrily. "Why, the one time I try to take my friends into my pocket dimension this happens. This thing turned us into damn cats!"

"I don't know, this can't be that bad." 231-7 mewed looking over her pretty brown pelt. "682 isn't as jacked up." She joked.

"Hey, you've never looked very good either." 682 grumbled.

"Actually, 682, 231-7 is in prime condition for a female human. The thing is you're a lizard, at least normally you are." 049 meowed.

"Uhh I hate this." 682 hissed.

"Wait, I can't teleport anymore." 173, meowed scared.

"How can you tell?" 231-7 inquired.

"Well, I see those birds, and when they look away from me, I can't teleport to kill them." The tan tom hissed.

"Wait, you can normally teleport." 231-7 tilted her head.

"Normally, yes." 173 rasped.

"Wait, if you've lost your ability, than I guess we all have." 049 meowed.

"What!" 682 yowled. The brown tom then began to rake his forepaw with unsheathed claws. "No, no, no!, how!"

"Good god, what's wrong with you?" 106 hissed, the tip of his tail twitching.

"Well, look." The huge brown tabby meowed, thrusting his bloody forepaw towards 106. "I'm bleeding, I'm actually bleeding, nothing's growing back, I can't eat anything to grow back skin, this is awful."

"How come you all hate this so much?" 231-7 announced over others. "So you've lost your abilities. I never had any to start with. I was just trying to have hope of living a basically normal life after all that has happened to me, and then some idiots took me into the hellhole they call "the facility." And we're cats, that for one is awesome. Did you even know that you could shapeshifter people 106?" The she-cat finished.

"Not particularly." The ragged tom replied, shrinking away.

"Well, maybe we can make a bit of something good out of something all of you call bad." 231-7 meowed.

"Fine." The rest of the cats replied.

The positive feelings did not last long though, for before long there were the sounds of footsteps in the brush.
