"I'm sorry."

Ranfa apologizing was not something Oikawa thought she would ever do. He would have thought she would make a smart comeback and attempt to make him speechless and even more annoyed. Instead, she apologized.

"I brought up your ex girlfriend, and I tried to remove your rights to worry about me. I'm sorry..."

"W-what's with you?! Suddenly apologizing so sincerely! You're creepy!" He backed away quite a bit so there was distance between them. He was smiling in a disbelief way; the Ranfa he knew would never apologize to him no matter what!

As everyone left in the background, they left with sweatdrops going down their faces; what kind of reaction was that? Shouldn't he be happy that she's apologizing?

Ranfa did not say anything about his comical reaction and she walked into the cabin and closed the door behind her. Each step she took had water droplets seeping into the wood of the floor.

Oikawa followed her, trying to clear things up. "Hey, why are you all wet anyway?"

"I fell in the lake on the way back."

"Why didn't you get on Coach's car today? Are you stupid?"

"I wasn't ready to come back."

"Why didn't you answer your phone?"

"I threw my phone on dry land when I landed into the lake, and I spent a long time to look for it in the dark. Plus, it got no battery."

"Serves you right! I hope this teaches you a lesson now!"

Ranfa came to a stop outside her bedroom's door. "It did."

"Wait, what...?" She actually admitted it?!

"Hm." Ranfa looked at the wood of the door before her, thinking about what happened before...

"That idiot!" Because the two Coach already left, she was left to make her way back up the mountain and to the cabin. She was not that bothered about the lack of flashlight now that her phone was dead. Thankfully, the moon was full and giving off a clear silver light so she could see her path without issues.

There's no way she's going back with tears in her eyes! She's too good for tears! She took a wrong step and the world suddenly moved very fast for her own liking. She started rolling down from the steep hill just on her left and she was about to land into the lake. She threw her phone into a bush just as the water enveloped her.

Ranfa accidentally gasped in the water, the oxygen bubbles began to rise up to the surface. She tried to swim back up but her clothes weighed her down. Desperate for air, she used all of her might to make it back up to the surface. She looked down at the lake out of curiosity and she saw the void of endless darkness.

'Oikawa-senpai...!' She called out his name in her mind again and again, hoping he would hear it. Who was she kidding? There's no way he could hear her, she left him back there and she walked off somewhere. 'Senpai!' Her unreachable call of his name was what kept her from drowning; she had a reason not to sink, he's her reason for staying awake and not drown in the darkness.

Ranfa got out of the water and she gasped and coughed as oxygen finally got into her system in time. "That idiot..." Was it water? Or was it tears? That doesn't matter anymore as long as she could still be here. "I need to make things right." Being right or being wrong was no longer important to her. What's important was making things right once again.

"Which bush did I throw my phone into?" She will make things right after looking for her cell phone!
