Natalie's life completely changes when her videos get noticed by a famous youtuber. Will she find fame? Or will she be lucky enough to find something else?
I was awoken by the sound of my alarm ringing. I practically jumped out of bed and into the shower. I was so excited, it had been one week since I had messaged Alex and today was the day I was going over to his studio to meet him and talk about our collaboration. I hopped out of the shower and stood hesitantly in front on my wardrobe. What was I going to wear? I stood in front of my wardrobe for what felt like hours until I finally made a decision. I pulled out a pair of leggings, and a grey sweatshirt which I was going to layer with a blue flannelette and my favourite jacket.

I finished drying my hair and left it in its natural wavy state and applied a small amount of makeup. I was going for a kind of casual look, I didn't want to seem like I was trying to hard. I glanced at my phone and noticed the time. SHIT! I needed to leave like now if I was going to make it on time. I quickly threw on my clothes, finishing my outfit with a pair of leather boots and a scarf, grabbed my things and quickly ran out the door. I put the address to the studio into Google Maps and reversed out of my driveway. After about twenty minutes I had arrived at the studio. I sat in my car and tried to compose myself. He was just an ordinary guy, there was no need to be so nervous right? I took a few deep breaths and walked up to the studios intercom and pressed the button.
"Hello?" A deep but sweet voice replied from the other side.
I took one more deep breath, "Hey, its Natalie, I'm here to see Alex?" I managed to get out without my voice cracking. Yes! I could do this! I can pretend I'm confident even though on the inside I'm freaking out.
"Oh hey Natalie!" The voice chirped, "come on in!"
The door clicked and slid open and I walked inside. This place was amazing! The walls were filled with pictures of singers who had used this studio. I smiled at pictures of Bruno Mars and Neyo as I made my way up the stairs to where Alex was sitting. I couldn't believe I was in the same place that all these artists had been! I reached the top of the stairs and saw Alex standing behind a microphone. He looked up at me,
"Hey! I'm Alex," he said walking towards me and pulling me in for a hug.
"Hey, I'm Natalie, its nice to meet you." I replied, hugging him back. He gestured towards two seats, as I followed him and sat down.
"I just want to start by saying, I love your videos, I think your'e amazing." Alex gushed.
I couldn't help but blush and let out a nervous laugh, "Thats funny, I was about to say the same thing to you." I replied playfully. Alex laughed. He was a really cool guy, I felt so comfortable already all my nerves had almost disappeared.
"Don't take this the wrong way," my train of thought was broken by Alex looking at me sincerely, "but can i hear you sing?"
I looked up at him. "It just because theres so many people on youtube who claim to be singers but they let auto tune do all the work you know?" I laughed. He was so right. There were so many people who thought they were 'singers' but really weren't.
