"Severus, who is this child that you carry?"

"This child is Gloria's other child. As you can tell, she barely took care of her."

"What are you gonna do with her?"

"I may seem like a cold hearted person, but I do not want this child to be in that woman's hands ever again. I shall take her in and treat her like my own daughter."

I looked over and Aspen had fallen asleep with her head on my shoulder and her thumb in her mouth. I walked over to the bed beside of mine and laid her down. I covered her up and kissed her on the head.

"What is her name Severus?"

"Aspen Joy Richmond. Later, I shall change her last name to Snape once I have offically adopt her to be my own daughter."

"What about Carla?"

"She will still be my daughter. I will not abandon either one of them for the other."

We both went over to the crib where Carla is taking a nap. I bent over the railing and gave her a quick kiss. Then, I heard little whimpers coming from Aspen. Going over to the bed, I saw that she was having a nightmare. Shushing her and rubbing her back to soothe her, she finally stopped whimpering and sighed in her sleep. Staying there for an extra few minutes to make sure she was asleep.

I got up and walked over to Poppy.

"How was Carla while I was away?"

"She was fine. Played a little then ate before taking a nap."

"Anything new found?"

Poppy leaned in and whispered in my ear. "Carla will be a very powerful witch when she grows up. She showed her powers to me not long before you came through the fireplace."

"How am I supposed to shield her from showing her powers to the wrong person?"

"Make sure you leave her with someone you trust. Like me, when school is back in session you can always leave the girls with me and I'll take care of them. I will even make a nursery/playroom for them. Putting in everything they need even a crib and a bed."

"You will Poppy?"

"Yes dear. It would be my pleasure to take care of those sweet girls of yours."

"Thank you so much Poppy."

Looking at the time, I realized it was dinner time then bath time. Going over to Aspen and shaking her awake. She sat up really fast, but I calmed her down and told her it was dinner time. I picked her up and took her over to the desk. I sat her down and pulled out my wand and made food and pumpkin juice appear. I left her to eat, while I went and woke Carla up. Rubbing her back til I saw her beautiful blue eyes open. 

Grabbing a premade bottle with the nourishment potion in it, I then conjured up a rocking cahir next to Aspen. Sitting down in the rocking chair, I started to feed Carla.

"Aspen, this little girl will be your new sister. Her name is Carla Lee Snape. Also, once all the paperwork is finished, you will also be my daughter. You will never ever go back to that horrible woman. What she did to you and Carla is really horrible and unhuman like. So, if you ever need anything you can always come to me or the doctor here. The doctor's name is Madame Pomfrey."

I saw that Aspen was looking at me like she was told that she got a new puppy or something. Aspen then jumped up and hugged me tightly. Putting Carla in one arm, I picked up Aspen and put her on my knee. She the proceeded to put her head on my shoulder with the biggest smile I ever seen her smile.
