Chapter 16: Don't Let Me Down

The DJ chose that moment to play Tory Lanez's 'Luv' and Caleb thought he might lose it. Aria had transformed right in front of his eyes as her body, especially her hips, immediately responded to the island beats.

Everyone seemed to watch her in shock except for Sophia Kate and Daisy. "Yow! Weh yuh deh pan?" Daisy asked. Aria's face seemed to brighten. "You're Jamaican?" Aria beamed. "Yeah – both of my parents were born and raised there. You?" Aria shook her head. "My dad is from New Orleans, but my mother was born and raised in Jamaica." Daisy smiled.

"Oh, two Jamaican girls! We're going to be trouble!" Aria laughed as Daisy took her hands and began to dance. Caleb watched as the two girls danced and talked. Heck everyone watched. They each moved fluidly and before he knew what was happening, he was dancing behind Aria.

Daisy smiled as everyone began to dance. Sophia Kate, Preston and Faye joined as everyone moved. Her parents were going to freak when she told them that she met another islander. They all smiled as Aria began to sing along. She sounds amazing. Daisy could tell everyone agreed with her as they watched, Aria seemed to dance and sing for Caleb. The chemistry between them was undeniable. Daisy was even getting hot from just watching.

Aria could feel her skin grow hot. She wasn't the girl that typically danced like this in public, let alone with a hot guy. She definitely didn't sing in public, but here she was. It's the alcohol, so you better do like Jaime. She thought as her body moved and her hips continued to rock against him. Sophia Kate and Faye both traitorously grinned at her.

Aria rolled her eyes as she continued to sing and grind. Faye and Sophia Kate joined the gyrating throngs and she closed her eyes and just allowed the music to wash over her. As Aria moved her hips to the lyrics, a warm hand landed on her hip. So far, they had been dancing he never touched her – until now. Sharp zips of electricity jolted her flesh as he drew her closer and leaned in. The deep voice at her ear was low and inviting.

Aria smiled as his breath tickled her. Who would've known that Mr. Charmer could move and knew good music? As the music slowed Caleb lightly brushed her temple with his lips. He kept his hand on her hip for a moment too long. His parting squeeze made her body yearn for a more intimate touch.

Get a grip, girl! He clearly does this on a regular – you're NOT special! The DJ mixed into a classical reggae song that had both she and Daisy screaming. When Sophia Kate and Faye joined them, Aria bit back a smile as Sophia Kate gave her a clear, girl-go-get-your-man look. Faye just fanned herself and fake-swooned, while Daisy gave her the thumbs up. Silly girls!

"Honey, if you don't go and get him! It's obvious he's into you and you are definitely into him!" Sophia Kate said as she booty bumped her. "Yeah, you put on your moxie – borrow mine if you must – and go make us proud. I'm going to take on his friend."

Faye smiled taking a big swig of whatever was in her cup. It smelt like bourbon. God help him! Aria chuckled as Faye made her way towards JT. Aria turned to look for Olivia who seemed to be enjoying the view as she watched everyone else interact.

So, what are you going to do girl? Aria didn't like her conscience at the moment. She was all diva and attitude. Aria turned towards her goal, her body jerking with a mix of adrenaline and Sophia Kate's shove in Caleb's direction. Either way, Aria's feet navigated the masses towards the promise of some serious flirtation.

The closer she got to him the more Caleb felt like he was being ensnared rather than the one doing the ensnaring. Taking in her long, dark hair with lose curls, he wondered how it would feel between his fingertips. Those eyes, though. They were by far her best feature. They were so big and brown framed by black, sooty lashes.
