The Kingdom Part 2

I had a decision to make, either I let our kingdom fall, or I fight for my people. I sheathed my swords. "Were heading back to the kingdom to collect more weapons and troops, were going to need to prepare for our next move." "Prince Mathieu, gather up your finest men and meet us back at the kingdom" we all settled up our horses and head back to the kingdom.

As we arrived Sir Martin brought knight Neo to the nursery tent. I walked into our village on my way to bring my swords to my trusty blacksmith Collin and I heard someone salute me. I focused my eyes and saw my friend Jonah, our funny and entertaining jester. "oh hey princess, how was your trip to the east kingdom?" Jonah said in a jolly peppy voice. "hello Jonah, sadly not too well I'm afraid, we were ambushed by the Armentha clan" Jonah's facial expression dropped to a frown. "We've come back to gather troops, war is ahead of us." Jonah and I had continued our walk to the blacksmith shop. "So what's the plan?" Jonah asks. We walk to the front door of the workshop and open the doors. "Still working on it" Collin hears the door bell and goes to the front desk. I place my two swords on the table and greet my blacksmith. "Collin, how are you?" Collin wipes the wax off his fingers and smiles. "Doing well, you guys are back late from the trip" I stare at my dull swords. "it didn't go well, were now preparing an attack on the Armentha clan. I need my swords in top condition" Collin squinted and took the swords inspecting them. "Your rough with them, even the blades a little shaky." I look out the window "I don't hold back in battle" Collin laughs "alright, ill spunk them up for in a couple days" I remove my gloves and put them in my pocket. "Perfect Gives us enough time to devise a plan for our attack" I walk out the shop "see ya soon boys"

I head off to our castle gates. I was then greeted by my trusted archers Tanner and Sir Martin having a conversation. Martin opens the gates "have you guys been standing guard?" I ask. Tanner nods "yup, with my vision I'll be able to see the enemy coming, even from far" I pat tanner and Sir Martin on their shoulders. "Keep it up guys" they continue their conversation as I leave to enter my castle.

Closing the doors behind me once I had entered my home I look into the hallway and see two figures standing at the hall doors having a chat. I was able to recognize one of them, which was my best friend sir sworn. But the other person I could not see for they were standing behind one of our wall flags. I walk around and see a broad and tall gentleman with a large defined beard. I squinted my eyes. Could it be he had returned?

"Kamo?" Sir sworn and Sir Kamo noticed my presence and greeted me. Sir Kamo smiles and gave a small bow. "Well hello there old friend." I shook my head then smiled "Hey, you're alive?!" I asked. Sir Kamo was one of my original elite knights back when I had first started ruling the kingdom. After we had gone to war with our ancient enemies the Black Wings, he had disappeared. "it's been a while" "why did you leave?" sir Kamo looked into the distance. "once we had declared victory, I had a thought cross my mind that maybe I wasn't meant to be a knight anymore. So I left to try and live a quiet life. When I had heard that my kingdom was in trouble, I had to come back". "we thought you were kidnapped by the leftover enemies warriors" He shook his head. "I wasn't thinking straight, took me a while to realise my home is here."

Sir Sworn patted sir Kamo on the shoulder. "Were glad your back bud" I smiled and shook my head "welcome home" I heard our royal puppy barking in the other hallway and another voice pop up. "Wow you guys really spoofed up the place since I've been gone" Knight Scoob was looking at our new paintings scratching his short beard with a cigar in his mouth. "Scoob you came back too" he noticed I was there and greeted me with a bow. "Hey well if it isn't the Princess" Back then we had sent Scoob to search for Kamo so he had disappeared as well. A couple years had gone by since then.

I was greeted by The General and Knight Matty "your highness, everyone has returned" I nod my head "perfect, set up a meeting for tomorrow bright and early. It's time to discuss our plans for this war..."
