The Wish

Chapter 2

The man stepped into the light and Jack gasps, he had long silver hair but looks only to be in his early   twenties with bright blue eyes, he towers at 6'4" and he has a scar that runs down from his eyebrow over his right eye to the corner of his mouth.

Unknown Captain: "I'm not surprised that you don't remember me, it was an awfully long time ago."

Captain Jack: "What was a long time ago? Why am I here, who are you?"

Jack's brain hurt; he doesn't know what this guy was talking about or how he knows him, but he wants to know what was going on.

Unknown Captain: "Woah Jack, you will know all in good time."

Unknown Pirate: "Captain we are ready to set sail."

Unknown Captain: "Good then lets head out of port."

The ship starts to move and they were heading out to sea. Jack was so tired that he just stops thinking about everything. He will wait until tomorrow to get the answers he desires.

Unknown Captain: "Alright Jack, Dave will be showing you to your room."

A boy stepped into the Captains headquarters. He's small and looks like he was fifteen, he was a weird looking kid with short messy blond hair and yellow eyes. Jack stands up and follows the boy out of the room, the boy doesn't say a word to Jack.

Dave: "Uh... here's your cabin."

Jack steps into the room; it was dirty and small with one window and a cot on the floor.  Dave then turns around and leaves the room.

Captain Jack: "Wow what a nice room."

Jack sat on the cot and looks out the window. His eye lids start to get heavy and he is pulled into the darkness of sleep.

I was on a ship playing swords with a boy. 

"Come on, give me your worst!" The boy said as he laughed. I lunged at him but the boy blocks my swing easily. 

"That's all you got Jack?" The boy teased. He was making me angry so I lunged at the boy again while he was laughing. This time my sword slashed down the boy's right eye. I dropped my sword in shock as the boy fell to the ground crying. 

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm so sorry..." I kept repeating that sentence over and over again as the boy was taken to the headquarters of the ship. 

Jack wakes up with a start. He was crying from the dream  He wipe's  the tears off his face till he realizes that he's still on the damn ship.

Captain Jack: "It was only a dream." 

Jack whispers calming words to himself as he puts both hands on his head and breathes out slowly. Someone knocks on the door. 

Unknown Captain: "Jack are you up?"

Captain Jack: "Yeah, I'm up."

Unknown Captain: "Can I come in?"

Captain Jack: "oh... Sure"

The Captain walks in the room, and as his eyes land on Jack, they fill with relief. Jack's stomach growls loudly in the silence, causing Jack's cheeks to flush red. The Captain looks at Jack in amusement with a laugh. 

Unknown Captain: "Looks like someone's hungry.  Well, go get cleaned up a bit and come down to the deck. After you're done eating, come to my quarters."

When Jack finished cleaning himself up, he made his way up on deck. All eyes landed on Jack the moment he was in sight. Jack immediately found Dave and bounded over to the only person who wasn't staring at him.  

Captain Jack: ''So what is there to eat around here?"

Dave looks at Jack before tossing him an apple. Jack caught it effortlessly with a smile that caused Dave to look away. 

Captain Jack: "Um... thanks, Dave."

After Jack ate the apple, he walks over to the Captain's quarters. Jack knocks on the door.  

Unknown Captain: "Come in." 

Jack opens the door and walks in, the Captain was sitting behind a desk with his hands folded in his lap.

Captain Jack: "So are you going to give me answers now?"

Jack says with annoyance at the silent Captain.

Unknown Captain: "Yes but first sit down, it is going to take a while to explain everything."

Jack sits down in front of the Captains desk, impatiently bouncing his leg.

Unknown Captain: "So your full name is Jack Solvik, correct?"

Jack's body tenses in shock. Up till now, no one knew his full name except for himself. Jack looks at the Captain in anger and confusion.

Captain Jack: "How do you know that, who are you?"

The Captain stands up while looking down at his desk. He then looks back up at Jack.

Unknown Captain: "I know your full name Jack because my full name is Jayce Solvik. I'm your older brother."

Captain Jack: "WHAT?!!"
