// Walkin' by Casisdead //Throughout this you will lean how much I contradict myself.
When In the town I live. I I wonder what stereotype I fit into? I mean I don't live somewhere in the middle of nowhere, people wear what they want but I feel like there's this invisible pressure of either dressing a certain way or acting a certain way.
I try to ignore this pressure. I don't fit into the hippy category, yes I wear culottes and smoke weed but i don't wear a jerga or constantly wear colourful clothes. Yes I know I have just stereotyped a whole community.
I am definitely not a chav! Well, as much as my friends call me one I am not. I refuse to accept it. In my town we have this shelter thing in the park called P.O.D and if you sit in there you are a chav.
And no this is a not a bunch of 13 year olds sitting listening to Shut up by Stormzy knowing only those two words.
Oh no this is 15-22 year olds sitting in this grimy shelter snorting Mandy in the freezing cold changing the word park to POD in the crazy rap by afroman.^this is PoD^
While I have sat in 'POD' before i don't associate myself with them. Tbh the majority of them are cunts. I problem I have with keeping myself out of this stereotype is the language. I find myself mumbling and saying words such as bare, long, bunning and shit like that.
I also own a 90's addidas shell jacket. Shameful I know
I also don't fit in the 'Wanna be Hipster, I buy all my clothes of depop and vintage stalls' category
1. because I don't only play music on Vinyl.
2. I listen to grime. ( i think that alone wipes me straight out of this categoryWhile a part of me fits into everyone of these categories and many others I don't fit it one completely. This is why I struggle to find friends I 100% relate too. While 2 of my best friends as much as I love them. They can be complete bitches and they hate the majority of people while they are still probably the most sort after and popular girls in my year.
My other best friend is a gem, we like the same music, have the same taste in clothes, are interested in similar things but yet we are so different at the same time.
I don't mind not fitting in to stereotypes and I'm sure no one fits completely into one category.
To show you my varied personality this is what my Spotify just played on shuffle:
Loaded by Primal scream then Talking the Hardest by Giggs and I'm not mad.
Also I don't sit in a Vauxhall Corsa eating McDonald's.
