(Lara walked in the old man's hut and looked inside. The walls were made with wood with a nice and cozy fireplace. He also had a table set up as well. The sweet aroma filled the entire room with the smell of cinammon apples.)
Lara: "Wow."
Old man: "What?" (The old man caught on fast.)
Lara: "Nothing. It's just your hut on the inside is way bigger than I would've imagined."
Old man: "Yes, don't let this little hut fool you. Sit, sit by the fire. I'll get you patched up and when I'm finished, we'll have some pie, okay?"
Lara: "Alright."(He went to the other room to grab supplies and Lara waited patiently.)
Lara: "You know. You're really kind to a person you just met."
Old man: "I didn't want you to suffer outside my hut, so I brought you in."
Lara: "Yes, I get that, but I could've been armed or a very dangerous person."
Old man: "You dangerous? Come on, you're a sweet young woman."
Lara: "Maybe in your eyes, but in mine...I'm more dangerous than you think."
Old man: "Oh. Hmph. I'll try to keep that in mind." (He came back into the main room with the supplies and laid them on the table.)
Old man: "Okay, let's have a look." (He examined her arm and her forehead. They had tiny scratches, but her arm was medium sized.)
Old man: "That's not too bad. I'll fix this up in a jiffy." (He grabbed a cloth and puts some hydrogen peroxide on it.)
Old man: "You have a name, young lady?"
Lara: "Lara. And you?"
Old man: "The name's Marshall Greene. Nice to meet you."
Lara: "You too." (Marshall then puts the cloth on her arm and she winced a little. He stopped and looked at her.)
Marshall: "You okay?"
Lara: "Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. I'll get over it."
Marshall: "Okay, just making sure." (He continued to clean her arm.)
Marshall: "So, what is a young woman like yourself doing here on this island?"
Lara: "We weren't supposed to come here."
Marshall: "We?"
Lara: "Oh, my friends and I." (Marshall nodded.)
Lara: "We were supposed to go towards Brazil, but we got cut off. Now, we're separated and trying to get off this miserable island."
Marshall: "Well, I wish you all the best of luck of making it off. Some people tried to get off this island and yet..." (He paused and he looked down.)
Lara: "What is it, Marshall?"
Marshall: "Let's just say people didn't make it. Including me."
Lara: "You tried to escape?"
Marshall: "I did, but Vaas's men got me and took me to his camp site. He beat senseless."
Lara: "Jesus. Are the soldiers really that strict on the island?"
Marshall: "Very strict. So, I fought my way out of the camp and stealthily found myself a hideout."
Lara: "Yet, here you are."
Marshall: "That's right." (He took out a bandage and wrapped it around her arm and tightened it. He puts the cloth on her forehead.)
Marshall: "If you want to learn something, Lara, then listen to me. You fight the best way you can off this island, don't show Vaas that you're weak. He will take advantage of that. Be strong for your family members and your friends. Understand?"
