The Twins

Chapter 2

Renee's POV Ugh. I wake up to my maid Lilith shaking me. 

"Miss! Wake up! The king and queen want to see you and your twin immediately!"

 What this time? Being a princess is tiring. All I'm craving right now is study the laws of physics. As I get out of bed I hiss at the light level in my bedroom. 

"LILITH!" I screamed. She stood in the doorway smirking smugly. I glared at her knowing who did this. "When was Rebecca in here?" I say. Lilith shrugs. "Not when I was around miss" 

I hate my sister for trying to shape me into a girly girl. I JUST WANT TO STUDY NEWTON'S LAWS! I start getting dressed the slowest pace I can.                    

                                  -----------------15 minutes later-------------- 

"Girls, your mother and I have something to tell you." 

My father, prince consort to my mother tells us. 

"As you know, your mother and I met in a selection. Well, we thought we would give you that chance..."

 He cuts off, and gauges our reaction. "Nooooooooo!" I scream as Rebecca starts jumping for joy. My mother, uncle and little brother all round the corner, probably wanting to see what's happening.

Rebecca's POV
I start jumping for joy as my sister starts yelling things like "Noo!" And "Whyyyy" 

I grimace at her while she sinks to her knees, bemoaning about love and brain chemicals and cooties. I suddenly realize that someone is hugging me from behind, and turn around in the nick of time before my uncle swings me around and puts me into my aunt's arms. 

"Aunt Camille! Uncle Ahren!" I exclaimed, hugging them tight. I was hugging my cousin Luc, when I realized that he wasn't my cousin! It was my sister's annoyingly snooty tutor, Marcus. He sighed and said, "Now that you are done embracing me princess, could I please pull your sister away for studies?" 

I was bright red and Aunt Camille was looking between us. I betted she was picturing grand-nieces. I glared at her before turning back to Renee, who was currently glaring at my parents. Well, she should get used to glaring at them if this would go through my mother's board.
