Hey guys!!! I'm going to make the chapters longer from now on. I don't own the selection. All rights go to Kiera Cass. The picture at the top left girl is what I kinda imagined Rebecca as. right is Renee. I'm writing this at two a.m. even tho I have homework. YEET!

HOLY COW. I JUST LOOKED AT THE BOOK AND WE HAVE 35 VIEWS!!!!!!!!! I KNOW IT'S TINY ON WATTPAD, BUT STILL!!!!!! I shut up now...

Renee's POV:

I was devastated at the news of our selection. So much so that I didn't come out of my room until Marcus came, and demanded that I cared for my lab experiment. I was trying to find a solution to energy waste. Riveting. Well, at least It kept me from the depressing thoughts of my future. A future with boys.

(Before Y'all make assumptions, she's not bi. Yet. I Dunno. maybe. muehehehehe.)

Rebecca was probably going to drag me down to a royal function soon. My life. Functions where I have to smile and act pretty. Experiments with Marcus. Government duties. I rarely see my mother, but my father is my greatest confidant.

He hates the fancy galas, where men constantly make jabs at his ethnicity. He wouldn't even be in the country if it wasn't for my mother.

As expected, Rebecca barges in the middle of my reverie. I spit out my tea. "Quick!" she calls. "We have to choose our men!" I groan, scrambling after her. Why me.

--Timeskip because this is a filler about the guys. first meeting next and I am lazy---

My sister looks eagerly at all the baskets in front of her. Me? I'm in the back with Dad, waving her on as she picks 30 guys for mainly her selection. I'm just gonna settle down with the smartest one.

As my sister starts, I pretend to look bored. It's common knowledge that I don't like this process one bit. I think of our parents in their selection. Mom technically picked a commoner, so does that mean I can pick Marcus?

A loophole may have been found.

Rebecca's POV

Today's the day that I pick my eligible prince consorts.

SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I've never been so excited as I dance through the row of baskets. My sis stands at the back, looking at her chipped nails.

I sigh. I mean, she's my sister and all, but she acts so annoying and snooty scientist. As a sister to the future queen, she should be looking for modeling prospects, like great aunt May! Speaking of Aunt May, She helped me with my outfit for today. I'm wearing a form-fitting light pink dress, with black heels bangles, and a little black purse.

My sister, on the other hand, has the only style that can annoy me on formal occasions. It's a regular dress, but only she can make it look classy at the same time. The example for today is a little black dress with brown heels, cheetah print scarf, sunglasses, and a big brown purse. It's so annoying how she puts so little thought into her outfits, yet still manages to look good. Argh.

Well, no times to look at fashion, I've gotta get this show on the road

Well, no times to look at fashion, I've gotta get this show on the road. Names float by, as I select them. I'm finished in the nick of time and I am only a few steps away from choosing my prince consort.
