{(Y/n)'s Pov}
"Miss (Y/n), hand me a wrench, please?" You heard Souda ask from under the metal of the plane. You nodded to yourself and dug through his toolbox, before pulling out what the Ultimate Mechanic had asked for. You quickly walked back over, and passed the wrench to him. "Thanks," you heard him mutter.

It was nearly impossible to tell if Souda has a crush on you or not. He only calls girls 'Miss' if he likes them, but he seems like he has a crush on Sonia more than you. You have a crush on the mechanic, but you considered yourself good at hiding it. The only reason you're helping him fix the plane, is because you're the Ultimate Pilot. And Souda had told you about the broken planes he found on one of the island, so you offered to help him fix them, since you were the Ultimate Pilot. After a while of helping Souda you both decided to take a break. You went to go talk to Sonia, since you are both great friends. Once you found her, you started talking about random things; Then the topic changed to who you both had crushes on.

"W-well, I don't like anyone yet..." You stuttered, hoping that Sonia wouldn't be suspicious; But, to your dismay, she was. "Oh, (Y/n), are you sure?" She teased, "I've seen you admiring Souda lately."

"W-what? No I haven't!" You objected. "Who do you like?" You asked quickly, attempting to change the subject. Sonia sighed dreamily, "I guess I have taken a liking to Gundham..." She mumbled, and you smiled warmly. "You should totally go for it! I'm sure it'll work out." You encouraged. She nodded a thanks, then replied, "But really, (Y/n), do you like Souda?" She asked, prying for information. "Y-Yeah" you mumbled.

You looked up and saw her excited face, "I knew it! I am beyond happy for you, (Y/n)!" She exclaimed. You sighed, "But, he seems to like you more..." She shook her head in response. "I don't think that is the case, from how I've seen him looking at you and talking to you."

"But he always seems to get really jealous when you're around Gundham, or any other guy." You replied, slightly confused. You saw Sonia shrug, "Well, he's just like that. I'm noticing the same thing when you hang out with any other guy, except worse." She giggled, "He's even had to rant to me a few times just to calm himself down."
You looked at Sonia completely shocked by what she had just said. "R-really?" You stuttered.

She nodded, confirming it as fact. "You should go back and help him!!" Sonia said, making you realize that your break was probably almost over. "Y-yeah, I should. He's probably going to need it..." You mumbled, before waving to Sonia, and heading back over to wear you and Souda had begun working.

Once you got there you and Souda started working on the plane again. You had no clue that Souda had talked to Hajime about confessing his feelings, since he and Chiaki had been dating for a while. You helped him as long as he worked, handing him various tools and things. Eventually, he stopped, and looked back at you with a dismal face.

"I'm afraid to say this, but..." Souda started, "I don't think it's possible to get these planes running again. I've tried everything, but it's just impossible!" He sounded frustrated. "Even for the Ultimate Mechanic? Then it must truely be impossible to fix it if you can't. You're the best mechanic I know!" You complimented, and his face flushed red. "T-Thanks..." He replied, sheepishly.

"Well, I think I'm going to head back to my cottage," You stated, looking outside, "It looks like it's getting late."You waved a brief goodbye, and began walking away, when Souda interrupted.

"Miss (Y/n)! Wait!" He ran up to where you were, and continued, "I have something to tell you!" Souda shouted. "What is it?" You asked calmly, although you were freaking out internally. "I-I love you." He said, his face turning bright red. You instantly felt your face heat up aswell. "I-I..." You struggled to respond but you eventually said it. "I-I love you too."
