Nina pov
Year 2018 is going to be a new experience to face and that's not all. I have met and gotten along well with some new friends that I met at the early college high school. The closes friend I have ever gotten with here is Amani Holloman.
She's quiet, funny, smart, artistic, and can be trusted for my eyes that don't lie to me. She was in my classes except for college course classes though.
Life here is a big difference from the high school my old friends are that I still care for so much and I hope they never forgotten me. I remember our friendship and adventures we've been on that I want to bring new friends to come along and never forget. Why do I sound like Peter Pan? Any way, today after school I am hoping to bring Amani with me on this journey we're going to face and someone is going to be happy to see me again.
Later that day
I waited for Amani to come from Mr.Joes/ Coach Joe that she is about to face something she never seen before. When she came inside the glass building she waved and I beckon her to come over to the gym. No one was in here. Good because its dark and scary!
"Hey Nina, why did you want me to come with you in the gym?" Amani asked.
"Amani, I want you to pay close attention. This is a secret between you and me, okay? "I gave her a serious look as she nodded.
"This is why I trust you enough to come along with me somewhere else than here." I grasp her hand that made her flinch.
"Uh...you mean it's a place where no one will know we're there?"
"That's right. Hang on tight Amani." I grinned as I used my new teleport key to time travel back in time to meet someone from the older I get, the new changes I seek.
"Where are we going?" Amani yelled.
"California!" I replied smiling.
