Welcome.

Leah was in a class night class taking notes when her phone dinged. 'Yase🏀' " Yo when you get done with class can you come by and hang?" Her eyes scanned the message and replied "sure thing. Why?" Her hand went back to taking the notes and writing notes in the notes, another ding interrupted her note taking. 'Yase🏀' "Your presence is wanted here by myself and Jayson." Leah was kinda skeptical about going to Chase's apartment. The only reason being that he's almost always there, no not Chase, but his team mate and her ex boyfriend she's been avoiding for the whole summer.

Luke.

Now I know what you're wondering, why would anyone want to avoid Luke Kennard? Well, because Leah didn't think she was good enough for Luke, she felt like she wouldn't give him enough time, she was afraid of getting caught up in her work and she wanted to give him the world, but couldn't while always working on essays, or stupid projects. Boy, she sure did miss Luke's goofy smile, his soft hair, his perfect frame, his hands in hers, their trips to church, and church events together. She just missed him.

"Yeah, I'll be there in thirty." She sent and her mind began to wander, and she was lost in thought until she was tapped on the shoulder. "Le? Come on." Her head shook out of thought and stood up walking out of the classroom and to her car. "What could he want?" She asked unlocking the car door setting her things in the back and her body in the driver seat. It was a ten minute drive from her class to Chase's apartment. Her eyes cautiously looking around for his car, no where in sight. Walking to the door her hand knocked and she came face to face with the one person that can fix, and break her heart.

"I'm so glad to see you, Leah." Every part of her wanted to kiss him right then and there but she looked down. "What are you doing?" He asked in the same breath. "Chase said I had to be here for a special package." Leah looked down and shrugged her shoulders and looked back at him. "I've transferred here Lucas." His face lit up, last year, was his worst year, his shot was off, his head wasn't there.

His arms wrapped her up tightly and he rested his head on hers, her arms found their way around his waist. "Leah, that's amazing. I'm so glad." His world, the only woman he's ever truly loved was back, they were back. "Lukee." She whined with a smile. Her heart was happy in his arms, her mind knew he wouldn't be as happy if he knew she had been avoiding him for months. She arrived in Durham, North Carolina in May, it was now October fourth. Five months without speaking to the blue eyed hunk in front of her. "I want my good luck charm back." He whispered gently squeezing her. She kept her head in his chest, her arms around him tightly. She remembered in high school, Luke would joke about her being his good luck charm, she would simply roll her eyes and smile back then. After seeing the season he had last year she nodded her head and looked up at him. "Well I'm right here."

"Welcome home, Princess."
