leaving

Mehkah was laying in the bed. He did not want to leave. He wanted to stay with Lara and Kendrick.

But he knew he couldn't stay there. He had to go home to his mom.

Mehkah was very upset about this. He felt wanted with Kendrick and Lara , something he didnt feel when he was with his mom.

Mehkah was in the car with Kendrick. They were heading to his house.

Mehkah had told Kendrick where he lived , like he had promised the night before.

Kendrick noticed a slight frown on Mehkah's face so he decided to speak up.

"Whats wrong bud"

Mehkah shook his head.
"I wanted to stay with you and Lara. I like you guys. Y'all are actually nice to me" Mehkah spoke and frowned his face up even more.

"Its okay little man, I'll visit you from time to time and I'll even make a way for you to visit us more often at our house"

"Okay , I'd like that" Mehkah smiled. That really brightened up his mood , he went from sad to happy real quick.

For the rest of the ride he just smiled.

Mehkah was walking with Kendrick to his door. He had just arrived home.

But before Mehkah could even knock on the door he heard a voice come out of no where.

"Mehkah , where have you been? Why didn't you come home?" He turned and saw his mother.

"And who the hell are you?" Mehkah's mother Meagan said while looking at Kendrick.

"I'm Kendrick , i found him yesterday hiding in an abandoned building , Some boys were chasing him. He wouldn't tell me where he lived until this morning" Kendrick said looking at the lady.

"Well thank you for bringing him home although he should've been able to do it himself" she said looking at Mehkah.

Kendrick them tried to give Mehkah a fist bump before he left but Meagan quickly snatched Mehkah into the house , leaving Kendrick standing there.

Mehkah was sitting on the couch while his mother talked to him.

"Mehkah you have to come home , you cant just wonder around with strangers. What if that man would've hurt you Mehkah? Huh? What then?"

Mehkah nodded in understanding and got up when he noticed his mom was finished speaking to him.

He went to go turn on the tv but was stopped.

"No Mehkah , go read a book or something. You watch too much tv" Mehkah sighed and went upstairs to find a book.
