Hogwarts Love

Chapter 1:

Ivy's POV

"I will see you in the summer" my mum smiled "What about Christmas" she sighed "I will be buying you new uniform going places" I groaned "Mum please just come visit on Christmas eve" why did she have to work with the ministry of Magic she goes everywhere its just frustrating "At least you will have Professor Dumbledore to watch so dont get into trouble I dont want a letter thankyou" I laughed has she pulled me into a hug then soon I was running through the wall I have been drying to run through. It was all crowded as everyone was trying to get onto the train I was of corse being me the last one to aboard the train I sighed as people started staring at me when I found a seat with a girl about my height my age sitting there crying. "Excuse me do you mind if I sit here" I asked smiling she shook her head smiling at me  "Thanks everything is so full" she didn't say much I like her. "my name is Rachel" she sniffled "Hi I am Ivy, why are you crying" she shrugged "I am gonna miss my dad" I smiled when a lady started yelling down the aisle "ANYTHING FROM THE TROLLY" "Do you want anything Rachel" I asked pulling out money she sighed I brought us 6 bags of sweets as I was paying I could feel someone looking at me so I looked to see 3 people staring at me 1 girl and two boys I smiled at them then went back to my seat.

"Here share mine" I said handing her half of my sweets she smiled sheepishly "Thankyou no one has brought food for me apart from my dad" she shyly said grabbing a liquorish stick "Your welcome anything for a friend" she smiled widely "So are you new" I asked she nodded "Yeah I dont know why but people were staring at me like I was some ugly animal" she sighed "I know right maybe they haven't seen new kids before" I joked she giggled "So tell me something about you" she spoke up I smiled "I am 17 my mum works in the ministry of magic like the potion side of things, my dad died 3 years ago I never got told why and I am a witch just like my mother" I smiled she gasped. "I am sorry to hear about your dad" she whispered I nodded "What about you Rachel" she sighed "I grew up with my dad, my mum left me when I was 5 but my dad trained me to become a witch since I could walk" she smiled. "What are you doing for Christmas" she sighed "Staying in the castle because my dad has some unfished jobs" I nodded.

As we were talking a boy slipped up I looked out of our little carriage thing and he was freakishly tall he seemed a little goofy everyone was laughing at him has he chuckled a little to but I could see was hurting "Are you okay" I asked it all fell silent "um uh yeah I think so" he stuttered I giggled helping him up "Go careful" I smiled he nodded sitting down with his friends as I sat back down "How are you so talkative to strangers" she asked laughing I shrugged "He looked upset and embarrassed so I thought I would help him" she awed then we started talking turns out we have a lot more in common than I thought.

~Skip The Train ride~

Everyone pushed and shoved each other off the train leaving me, Rachel and the guy the slipped over still on the train "Are you okay" I smiled at him he nodded "Thankyou I am Neville, Neville Longbottom" aww his last name "Hey Neville I am Ivy, Ivy Blu this my friend Rachel" he smiled at her as she smiled back. "You knew here" he asked we both nodded he smiled shyly "That explains a lot then I am the clumsy one around here" I laughed when we all lined to hear this loud voice "Right guys we have to get on these boats to get to the castle so uh follow me" he called we all followed as Neville walk along with us. "That's Hagrid he lives in the cottage next to the forbidden forest" I gasped I heard about that place. "How does he have the guts to do that" he shrugged as we got into the boats with some other people I dont know. "Ivy, Rachel this is Finnigan" he smiled I shook his hand he smiled "New comers eh" in his accent it was pretty cool one. "What houses are you guys in" we shrugged "We have no clue yet" Finnigan smiled "Wait you were the girl who helped Neville up, that explains why your new" seriously how mean are they to him, poor guy.

"Hagrid this is Ivy and Rachel" Neville smiled he was so tall "Hi you must be the new comers okay follow me, Guys you know your way in go into the hall and Professor Dumbledore will meet you in their" Hagrid said loudly. They walked a different direction to us but staring at both of us "Come with me your going to meet professor McGonagall so she can put you in your houses" we both nodded as Hagrid loudly knocked on the door she smiled at Hagrid looking down at us a sudden rush of nerves kicked in.
