I remember. My face lights up with a big smile and I say as loud as I possibly can "Riley! My best friend!" She smiles and grips my hand. "I do remember you, you help me with all my problems and you care for me so much! Thats why you are here! To make sure Im ok and alive" I said. She starts crying of joy and hugs me so tight. I breathe a sigh of relief and cry of joy as well. Farkle sat in the chair looking sad that I haven't yet remembered him. Riley realised me and winked at Farkle. She moved back to the end of my bed at stroked my foot to comfort me. Farkle came over and handed me the flowers and smiled. "Im glad you are ok, Maya, and I cant wait for the moment you remember me" He said. I smelt the flowers but could not smell anything. I said to him that they are beautiful and put them on the table next to me. I gripped his hand and said " I cant remember you yet but I do believe you are my boyfriend and that you are the best one I have ever had. He smiled then hugged me. I kissed him on the cheek as he realised me and Riley giggled. My mum walked in and asked if I understand. She looked at Farkle and said "Nice kiss" then to Riley and said "I knew she'd remember." It automatically occurred to me that my mum was watching and I laughed. Riley asked why I am laughing and I answered " Im glad to have you all here! I do understand Mum." They all smiled and sent for the others to come in. I see a brown haired woman and her husband I think and a little brown haired boy that looks like Riley. He ran over and jumped onto my bed and screamed "Maya! My second sister! We can play pirates again!" I grip his waist and move him slowly to my lap. I grin and hold his hands tight. I kiss the top of his head and whisper "Hey Auggie, we can once I can move properly again." He smile and hold his hand as he slips of my bed. He runs to the woman and her husband and says "Mum when will she be better?" And she smiled and answered with soon. I wave and smile at the woman. They all wave and then walk back out of the room. Riley and Farkle stayed in the room with me and they had a chat with me. Im pretty quiet because it hurts to talk but they still talk to me. After a while, the doctor comes back in and tells me to get some rest. I try to slide down my bed but it hurts too much. The doctor and Farkle help me as Riley holds my hand. I finally am laying down with my head on the pillow and close my eyes. I can hear everyone come back in the room. Auggie and Rileys mum is going home with her husband and my mum is staying but the other man is taking Farkle home. Riley starts to cry because she doesn't want to leave so my mum says she can stay here with us. Riley sits down in the other chair. "Riley, come here" I say. She heads over and whispers "Yes Maya" and I answer for her to come sit with me. I struggle to move over to fit her next to me. She rests her head on my shoulder and I rest mine on her head. We held each others hands and fell asleep. My mum took photos of us laying there for memories. Everyone leaves the room and starts walking down the hall. Farkle came running back and kissed for forehead and whispered "see you tomorrow, beautiful!"
