Chapter 5- My Mate

Storm's POV

It was my mate. She was crying at the side of my bed. She looked up at me she had the prettiest eyes and perfect hair even if it was messy from her sleeping. But she was 4. I didn't care I would wait as long as it took. I told her "Who are you sweetie?" She said in a small voice "Hazel Grace." I sat up in my bed I recognized her as Jackson's little cousin that he was now taking care of because of family issues. I lifted her up and put her in front of me. I asked "what are you doing here princess?" She told me "I c-came in h-he-here be-because Jackson w-was sleeping a-and I heard l-light-lightning." And I then heard thunder and Hazel Grace whimper. Stupid thunder how dare you scare my mate.

I picked up my phone and texted Jackson telling him that I had his little cousin and that she wants to sleep in my room tonight. I got up and Hazel started crying, I think she thought I was leaving her. I told her "I'll be right back I just need to go and get something from over there." I pointed towards my dresser. I wasn't going to be known as a pervert or something so I went and put on some sweats and a shirt. I sat back down on the bed and pulled Hazel next me and laid down. I asked her "I can call you Hazel right?" She looked at me and giggled "of course." She cuddled up to me and went to bed. This was the happiest I have been in sooo long to have my mate cuddled up next to me and sleeping. She may only be 4 now but when she turns 18 I will still be 24. And waiting for her.

Hazel Grace's POV

In the morning , around 9 am

I woke up on top of someone but then I remembered that it was the Alpha of my new pack.

"Mommy" I was crying and mommy was yelling and daddy then daddy smacked mommy. And it seemed like they were fighting for hours and I was screaming because I was tired and mommy and daddy wouldn't listen and just kept screaming and smacking each other.

I remembered why I was here now. But for some reason I felt safe on his chest, he was warm. I felt his arms on my back, I wondered how we got into this position. But I didn't care as long as I was here in these arms forever. Since I'm a part wolf my mind is learning faster than my body can grow so I think i'm at the mind level of a human that is about 7 or 8. I then heard a ding behind me. I looked up to see the Alpha's eyes open and looking over me, I just laid my head back down and went back to sleep.

Storm's POV

I was texting Jackson he told me  I think I had a mini heart attack when Hazel Grace wasn't in her bed* I just texted back *well I thought you would check your phone first sorry =-D * Jackson texted back well I need to do quite a few things today and I don't want Hazel Grace being alone here could you take her today I quickly texted back  *yeah sure she is pretty funny anyway* I then texted again * ummmm and Jackson I think I found my mate =^-^= * Jackson texted back That's great dude i'm soooo happy for you I knew you would find her, soooo who is it?  I texted back  *you promise you won't get mad or anything and I can still keep Hazel Grace today* he texted back of course dude, if anything i'm super happy for you I sighed and texted * It's her it's Hazel Grace but don't worry I don't have those mate mate feelings for her because she is under 18, so you don't have to worry about me trying anything * I finished typing and inhaled the scent of her hair. Jackson replied DUDE that's AWESOME why would I be mad or anything, now I don't have to worry about her getting a douche bag as a mate Jackson texted again  you can have her anytime you don't need to ask just make sure you tell me that you have her I smiled soooo huge I thought my lips might fall off I just texted back * ok thanks so much *.

I looked up to see my princess staring back at me with her huge blue eyes they were the prettiest things I have ever seen. She rubbed her eyes and said "good morning prince." When she called me prince my heart skipped a beat. My heart felt whole again, it always felt as though I was missing something and I now knew that it was this little girl that would one day grow up to be mine.

Hazel finally woke all the way up and lead me to her room so I could brush her hair and get her clothes on. ( what she is wearing in media ) She needed help getting dressed so I dressed her with my eyes closed. She asked "why do you have your eyes closed?" I told her "Because you need your privacy even if you are only 4." She just shrugged and said "ok prince whatever you say." I just got up from sitting on her bed and went to where she was and hugged her as tight as I could without squeezing her to death. She giggled which made me laugh. She said "sooo can I meet your family pretty please?" I looked at her she sounded like my real girlfriend I chuckled and said "of course you can".

Hazel Grace's POV

He said I could meet his family I giggled and ran into his office place and I saw him concentration so I played on the couches and waited. After a while he told me to come sit on his desk I tried getting up there but I was too short suddenly I was lifted up and got taller and taller till I could sit on the desk. I looked around and saw Alpha and that he lifted me up. I asked "hey mister alpha what is your name?" He turned around and face palmed himself and said "name is storm princess." I asked "can I call you teddy bear?" He said "sure why not?"

Storm's POV

Then I saw Aiden and Charlotte walk in Charlotte has gotten pretty big in the last 2 weeks they've been here. Then there was Liam and Chloe and then Jellal and Erza and Emerson and lastly mom and dad.

Mom was the first to speak she asked "first of all why did you call us here and second why is there a 4 year old on your desk??"

"Well for the first question I called you here to meet Hazel Grace because she is my mate."

I then said "I hope that answered your second question too"

Everyone except Emerson just looked at me with happiness in their eyes that I finally found her and that there question was answered to why I stopped aging this year.

Hazel asked me "what does it mean when you are someone's mate?" her little eyes twinkled with worry.

I told her "It is nothing bad I promise you princess."

I then heard Emerson say "I think it's time."
