Chapter 7- Hazel Now

*Time Skip* *9 years*

Hazel's POV (finally)

I turned 13 a few days ago. The Alpha got me the best gift though, he got me a really pretty necklaces. I haven't taken it off since I got it. 

I was hanging out with my best friend Zeke right now he was making fun of me because I tripped over the couch and fell into this guy and ended up like less than an inch away from kissing him. I got so red and ran so fast that I ended up tripping and falling down the steps.

We were outside by the pool and since it was summer I was about to suggest we go for a swim. When I about fell into the pool Zeke stopped laughing and grabbed me I was like 2 inches from the water getting my hair wet. He pulled me up and we ended up tumbling backwards. I ended up on top of him and we were laughing so hard we could hardly breathe. 

I then spoke up when we stopped laughing. "Hey why don't we go for a swim?"

He just looked at me for a moment then said "let's go shortie." I then said "fine snickers." He just laughed and left.

I went up to my room and put on my bikini which was navy blue with hot pink hearts.

I went back downstairs to see Zeke already in his swim trunks, he had the most perfect tanned skin he made me so jealous. But I already knew he was gay, he told me himself that he doesn't like girls but likes boys. It didn't bother me, a lot of the teenagers around our age didn't want to hang out with him, he didn't let it bother him though.

We got into the pool and started playing around splashing each other. After a while we finally settled down and Zeke said "hey my parents want me to come back up but I will be back later." I just nodded while I was on my float, I was laying down. There weren't any other kids in the pool they were all inside watching a movie. I layed my head back and started to relax when suddenly I was over flipped. I swam up to see who flipped me over. 

I couldn't believe my eyes it was him it was the Alpha he had been gone for a good 5 years now. He had a lot of training to do for being a better Alpha. I swam/ran through the water to get to him when I did he lifted me up and threw me up in the air I scream but then he lifted me out of the pool and then he jumped out himself.

I ran at him knocking him back a bit and wrapped my legs around his waist. I was so happy to see him again we both knew we loved each other it didn't matter the age gap. I had the feeling I was his mate but I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want it to not be true.

I had 3 more years until I was going to shift I am going to shift earlier because apparently when I was little, when my parents were killed the people that killed them put something in me before I was able to get away but I didn't care it would just mean that I would met my mate sooner.

We stayed like that for a good 5 minutes until I took my head off of the crook of his neck to look at him I felt like I was going to cry I started tearing up so Storm took me and carried me upstairs to his room. I had a huge towel over me so no one saw that I was in my swimming suit. 

He walked straight upstairs I just layed there with my head on his shoulder and my legs wrapped around his waist. He sat me on his bed and went into bathroom and came out with sweats and a t-shirt. He just said "I can give you a big t-shirt to wear as a dress and just keep your bottoms on of the swimming suit." He gave me a gray t-shirt and I went to the bathroom and put it on and came out. He was sitting on his bed with his arms wide open.

I could see the smile on his face.

Storm's POV

She ran at me super fast and I caught her and she started balling, she was crying as much as a waterfall I felt as if my shirt was drenched but it didn't bother me I just wanted to hold her. She was my everything and she knew it.

A little after I got her to calm down I told her if she wanted to know a story about her childhood. She smiled at me and said "yeah sure just not too embarrassing." I said "no promises." 

I then told her the story about how she kissed me and asked me out when she was 4. Her jaw dropped to the floor I swear. She was so red I thought she might turn into a tomato. I just chuckled at her.

*Time Skip* *Nighttime*

Hazel was in her bedroom getting some pj's on and taking a shower she wanted to sleep with me tonight and I couldn't say no. I was sitting on my bed just thinking back to 5 years ago when I went to go and train with my family and left back to the palace. I remember Emerson and her red puffy face when I left she was so sad. She didn't want to leave me but I told her that when I got home that she could come and stay for as long as she wants.

I then heard a knock on my door and snapping me back to reality. Hazel came in and I about yelled in surprise this girl comes in here with a tiny crop top on a some lace panties. I just looked at her face and said "you sure you want to sleep in here?"

 She said "yeah why wouldn't I want to." I could tell she didn't put that stuff on, on purpose she just thought about being comfy. But I gotta admit she is really thin like too thin I need to make sure she eats. She really scares me sometimes.

She came over to me and said "come on we have to go to bed silly" I just nodded and she laid down and I laid down next to her but not to close. She looked over at me and said "come closer it is cold in here." I slowly made my way towards her she grabbed my arm and put it around her. And that was how we went to sleep.
